GolfPass Gear Report: November's best Black Friday golf deals

Thanksgiving week brings golf's best Black Friday deals.
Sunday Swagger - Ugly Christmas polo

Remember when Black Friday was one day, the day after Thanksgiving?

Times, they are a changing. Some retailers still celebrate the tradition of customers lining up at the crack of dawn for the first chance to buy severely discounted items. More and more, though, retailers are releasing deals online, sometimes days in advance of both Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Savvy shoppers know where to look.

To celebrate the biggest four shopping days of the year, we've rounded up some of the best golf deals we've seen.

William Murray

Bill Murray - long-sleeve polo

Want to channel your inner Caddyshack for more fun on the course? Bill Murray's whimsical and sometimes wild golf polos can help. Bill Murray's fashion line is one of a handful of brands pushing the edge when it comes to colors and patterns golfers take to the course. Although superintendents generally make good money, even Carl Spackler would be thrilled with William Murray's Black Friday deal - 40 percent off anything from the site.

Cobalt Golf

Cobalt Q4 Slope Rangefinder
The Cobalt Q4 Slope Rangefinder delivers premium features for a more affordable price.

The Cobalt Five fully activates on Thanksgiving Thursday, Nov. 28: For five days until Dec. 2, Cobalt is offering $100 off its three best-selling range finders, the Q4S, Q6S and the Q6. Monitor the Cobalt website for the savings.

We reviewed the new Q4 Slope model earlier this year, noting our favorite feature was the crystal clear optics. The viewing is enhanced by the ability to toggle back and forth between red or black readings to better stand out in whatever light you're dealing with that day. Just like the premium Q-6 Rangefinders, the Q-4 also includes PinSense and Surge technologies.

TRUE Deals from TRUE linkswear

Shot Scope

Shot Scope V5 GPS watch

Three different items are a part of Shot Scope's Black Friday sales. Just like Cobalt, its Shot Scope PRO L2 rangefinder is discounted by $20 to $129. If you prefer looking at your wrist opposed to shooting the pin, try the Shot Scope V5 GPS watch at $30 off ($219.99 total). For data heads who want to track all of their shots, there's the CONNEX performance tracking tags at $30 off, down to $69.99.

The Indoor Golf Shop

The Indoor Golf Shop simulator

Already suffering from the winter golf blues? A home simulator can help. The Indoor Golf Shop (TIGS), the leading manufacturer of indoor golf equipment and home to the largest selection of residential and commercial indoor golf products online, is offering early access to its unprecedented Black Friday and Cyber Monday offers. From now through December 9, customers can save up to $4,000 on complete golf simulators and can also take up to 20 percent off select golf simulator products. For example, the site is offering Uneekor launch monitors and full golf simulators, like the QED, Eye XO, Eye XO2, and Eye Mini Lite at the deepest discounts of the year.
