Lincoln Country Club has a scenic landscape of hardwood forests and meandering creeks. Although it might not seem like anything special on first glance, the golf course is actually one of the area's hidden gems. The traditional design has a surprisingly formidable test. The challenging golf course has a front nine with tree-lined fairways and small greens that demand accuracy. While the back nine is more open, it's no less challenging. Shot placement will still be an important factor when maneuvering the greens. Ponds and creeks come into play throughout and there are strategically placed bunkers lurking along many of the greensides. The Lincoln Country Club golf course finishes with a tough par 4 that demands an accurate tee shot with out-of-bounds on the right and a creek on the left. Don't underestimate the undulating green, it has seen many three-putts in its time.

It’s a bit rough over all but greens are really quite good. Pace was great. The fairways were ok but aprons were worn badly. The cart path is really rough and carts are old and need replacement. Folks, it’s worn but playable.

Not worth the money

Course is not worth the high price tag. Lots of construction happening. Difficulty find Hole 1. Had to as a local how to get there.

However, food was delicious!

Great course layout

Overall the course was in great condition. The greens were recently plugged which made for difficult putting. The.main issue with the course is the cart path condition. Very bad in numerous places. We expected better for a Country Club. Construction around hole #1, 2 and 3 was a mess. Overall the round was enjoyable!

Lincolnton club

For the price you pay it’s an overall well valued price for 18 holes. However it may not be a above average course, carts, or facility; it gets the job done and you definitely can have fun and make do with it. I enjoy playing here.

Only the front 9 was open for golf. The greens on the back 9 were being aerated. Greens on front 9 were still bumpy and sandy from recent aeration. Pace of play was extremely slow no doubt caused by only half the course being open

Wish i could give less than a star

Absolute sh !t show. Arrive to find back mine closed for aeration and then get to first green just to find that those were done the day before with no mention from anyone online or in clubhouse. So we had to play both nines twice so once we turn there is 6 groups stacked on 1 so they didn’t even postpone tee times so had a nice 6 hr round of the same nine such a absolute waste of time

Nice course

Great value. The cart paths were horrible. The roughest 18 holes I ever rode. Other than that the course was in great shape. The greens were smooth but slower than what I am use to. Will come back and play again.

Nice greens

Greens are in good shape, Bermuda fairways are about half way in. First timers could use some guidance getting to the first tee.

Lincoln Country Club

I thought the course was in decent shape but they overbooked our tee time. Evidently they’re not getting notifications from Golf Now when someone books. When we got there they didn’t know we were coming. The guy in the Pro Shop was accommodating though and handled it professionally. I like the course, the cart paths are rough but the greens were good and I thought the course was well taken care of considering how dry it has been. I plan to go back.

Good value

This course has some nice greens. It has a few dog legs left and right that requires you to use other clubs off the tee other than driver. The only thing stopping this course from being 5stars is the eye sore on hole 2. It has been under construction for 3 years. Doesn’t affect play but hurts the appeal.

Fun challenging course, great condition!

This course has a really fun design! Some challenging holes with sharp dog legs or a tight fairway with the road right next to it. Greens were in perfect shape and rolled nicely. Couple long tee boxes, or missing grass in the fairway but overall great condition. Nice bunkers as well. Will definitely play again!
