King's Mountain Country Club

this is the first time playing in a couple of years... great place to revisit... enjoyed the entire day. played a 2v2 and we had so, so much fun... great layout, great fairways & greens... tee boxes were a little hard, but we managed. looking forward to playing there more this fall.

Enjoyed playing Kings Mountain CC very challenging, lots of blind shots along with target golf. Staff was friendly! Pace of play was a little slow! Go play it if you are in the area!!

Extremely slow pace of play. No Marshall to keep the pace flowing. Group in front of us was a foursome..everyone hit multiple balls off every tee…rediculous! Group in front of them was a thrresome…who shouldn’t be playing the game of golf…period!!! Course management needs to do better!!!

Beautiful course and hills everywhere!

Upon coming to course the started said oh you guys are Golf Now that is a pain and we are only using them for another month. They gave no welcome or direction. Busy place but it moved along. Got to back side only to find the fairway was stripped and all freshly regraded and had concrete forms on the only path. Forms had pins sticking up and felt like we should not be going through that area. A down pour came and there was very little direction or wayfinding to get us safely back to club house. When we got back to club house a number of golfers were looking to get rain checks including ourselves. Doors were locked and pro shop staff was gone. However restaurant and bar were busy. With their attitude didn’t feel like they would give rain check to golf now customers.

We like meeting another couple from Spartanburg here because it about half way for us both. we are all mid handicappers and seniors but never have felt pressured or pushed along. Staff is very accommodating. Holes 15,16 17 are being reconstructed but we understand and will enjoy the improvements. They currently can still be played. 16 is much shorter temporarily. Overall a great place.

Great course for the money. I've ready reviews about all the blind spots on this course. No more than any other course in my opinion. Great layout. Staff was very friendly. Great grill.

Blind shots and dogs legs on every hole. Group behind use hit into us 5 times. The course is designed so poorly you are hitting a bind shot at least once a hole.

Second time playing here this year the pace of play has been excellent both times even on a fully booked day. The fairways were excellent but the greens could have been a little more consistent. Would recommend

Kings Mountain is an hour away from me and totally worth the ride. Course is in great shape, the fairways are like carpet and the greens are running great. It’s a great layout for a hilly course. There are a number of blind tee shots so look ahead if unsure. The people who work here are very nice, it’s just such a nice place to visit. Attached restaurant has good food as well. If I lived closer I’d join. If I could only figure out how to play 15 I’d be happy. Tough hole. I try to get here at least once per year. Very enjoyable place all around.

Some blind shots made it a little tough for my skill level. However, I enjoyed it.

I used to be a member at this course. I canceled my membership because i was chased down by someone from the pro shop when i tried to go around some extremely extremely oh did i say extremely slow people by going to #10 so i could actually enjoy my day. He told me i wasn't allowed to do that. I decided to give it another shot after two years. Me and a friend played the front 9 and were enjoying ourselves. When we got to 10 we sat and waited 20 minutes on the three foursome that they let start on #10. Take my advice... if you aren't one of their very very old and extremely slow walking old members your money isn't good at this course. You do not matter to them at all.
