Terrible pace and conditions
Leaves everywhere, only nice thing about the course was the greens. Pace of play was awful so we left after 9.
Definition of dreadful
My rating for this course would be a solid one star rating. This lone positive comes from a half star for greens rolling pretty true and another half goes to the cart and it’s ability to allow me to complete 18 holes.
The T boxes are worst I’ve ever hit from regardless the club selection or the use of a T, they don’t manufacture T’s long enough to actually T it up except in the bare dirt areas which are everywhere.
The fairways, there aren’t fairways, just more bare dirt and patchy fluff for grass. Bunkers do have rakes, but be ready for some manual labor. Worst of all, we routinely lost balls due to the leaf factory in and just off every fairway 1-18. It seems instead of removing leaves they collected as many as they could and scattered them everywhere. Pot holes can be seen throughout the courses cart paths. And lastly, a sign said the pin placement is 3 which is next to hole 10 without describing where that spot might be located on any given hole.
Unfortunately, we paid $45 for a course that has decent layout but zero signs of a care for necessary maintenance.
I’ll return if under $10 and they supply the 30 balls that will be lost on quality shots.
It’s cheap and not busy for a reason
Course is in terrible shape and it seems like they have no intention on maintaining it. I wouldn’t play it again or recommend it to anyone.

Fun course! Be prepared to search for your ball in a lot of leaves.
Nice course / good value
Nice track good greens.
Unkept traps though.
Fun to play and nice people in the pro shop. Check it out.
Great deal for $24. Hard Layout.
Greens are great condition. Fairway could use some work, but really not bad. For a slicer/fader this is a difficult course to enjoy. Plays longer than most courses because constantly hitting to uphill greens.
if you like a challenging course this place is for you. I personally don't. I like a grip and rip style course.
good value
course is in good shape, greens are very nice, will definitely be back.

Great pricing
At least once a week you can get a round for less than $20 (before green fees and taxes). Pace of play is below average, probably because they don't space out tee times enough and let people begin as soon as they check in. Can't complain about course conditions if you hit the ball to the right spots. Some spots off the fairways are very patching and bald. Overall, this course is a great deal and probably the best for your money within 45 minutes of Charlotte.
Improvng
Greens are coming into shape after a rough summer.
Interesting layout
The course overall was very enjoyable to play. My playing partner and I had a person with us, who had local course knowledege. I felt this was beneficial as there were a couple of holes that from the apparent view, did not know how to play.
The only negative take away is that the courses tee boxes need repair.
First Time Here
I was worried about playing here after reading some of the reviews, but I used a “hot deal” for $20 for 18 Holes and I think that’s the best deal yet I’ve gotten on this app. That being said some of the reviews are correct: the tee boxes need attention. But in my estimation it is because the grass is too HIGH. When you’re teeing up an iron for a par 3 it still feels like you are in the rough because of the tee box grass height. Other than that I was very pleased with the course. Greens were in great condition and fairways were ok. I’m an amateur 18 ish handicap, so I started from the whites the first 9 holes and this course is TOUGH. The rough was ROUGH and thick like it should be. I wasn’t used to that. I had to switch to the orange tees for a confidence boost for the second 9, but I’ll definitely come back again when I hone in some more skill. Definitely NOT for the beginner. Beautiful course though.
