Lincoln Country Club has a scenic landscape of hardwood forests and meandering creeks. Although it might not seem like anything special on first glance, the golf course is actually one of the area's hidden gems. The traditional design has a surprisingly formidable test. The challenging golf course has a front nine with tree-lined fairways and small greens that demand accuracy. While the back nine is more open, it's no less challenging. Shot placement will still be an important factor when maneuvering the greens. Ponds and creeks come into play throughout and there are strategically placed bunkers lurking along many of the greensides. The Lincoln Country Club golf course finishes with a tough par 4 that demands an accurate tee shot with out-of-bounds on the right and a creek on the left. Don't underestimate the undulating green, it has seen many three-putts in its time.

nothing memorable about course

The course is old and looks like a very cheap municipal course. None of the holes are memorable. Greens were in ok shape but the rest of the course had a lot of weeds and areas that looked like they had not been maintained for quite some time.

Lincoln Country Club

I had heard good things about this course. perhaps my expectations were too high. We were surprised to find the greens to be so hard although in good condition and such a lack of markings to assist in estimating distances.

Understandably, since this is such an old course, many of the features are very well established, which does help make this a challenging course. There were some unmarked hazards such as the swamp in the middle of the 11th fairway and ground that should be considered to be under repair in a number of places. The cart paths are in need of upgrade or major repair. The staff was quite friendly and helpful for their part.

Our overall experience was good and memorable and it can be said that it is a good value for the money. I would recommend this course and even play it again, with the knowledge gained in our first experience.

Glass half full

Wasnt the best course I ever played and it definitely wasnt the worst. Greens rolled true but the course def needed some rain. Some very narrow fairways. Cant complain for what we paid in greens fees.

Friendly people, bad course

The Course needs a lot of attention. The greens were in ok shape but everything else lacked. There was not a fringe around the greens just dirt. There wasn't a fairway so it was hard to tell if you were in the fairway or the rough. The tee boxes were terrible. The grass was tall which wouldn't allow to tee the ball up properly unless you had long tees. The staff on the other hand were super friendly. Maybe some of the nicest people I have met at any clubhouse. Im sure that during the summer this course looks better. I certainly would call ahead.

Great buy for the money

Got out at 2:30 and still finished by 5:30. Even in winter conditions the greens were in good shape. Good experience.

Great course! Great value for the money! Highly recommended!

I've played the course several times, and each time was an enjoyable experience. The greens are in excellent shape and the course is well maintained. Play on the back nine was slowed by several patrons failing to allow the faster groups to play through. The presence of a marshall could've alleviated this problem. The greens fee and cart rentals are reasonably priced, offering one of the best rates in the area. I look forward to playing the course again and highly recommend it.
