Good course
This place has a few challenging holes, but nothing overly difficult. The course was in great shape when I was there.
nice links course, good value
We were volenteering for the Sr Open and played this course, deemed as one of the few links course in Omaha area, not too long and well maintained, greens we thought were good but rolled a little slow (ok for us), challeges on nearly every hole, 1st hole a little tricky even if you are straight and long, water and rough to contend with on others. Nice course even for the lady friend on forward tees. 1st nine supposedly more challenging but I found second nine more of a test. A couple of blind shots required. Staff super friendly. I would easily play again.
Slow Pace
Besides the summer heat, you'll have to deal with slow pace as most think they can drive all the par 4s tremendously slowing things. And the occassional very drunk golfers...with no ranger in sight.
Great course for the priced
Course was in good shape. For the cost you won't find a better course. We will be back.
Nice Course, terrible pace of play.
Excellent conditions, tough course, but there was no effort to maintain a decent pace of play. When the hacker in front of us hit 4 tee balls on #1 I knew it would be a long day.
Great value, would definitely recomend you check it out!!
Overall condition of course was good. The greens and fairway were in excellent condition. Tee boxes were sparse on several holes and several were pretty slanted, ie not a very level teeing ground. Pace of play was awesome, we started at 9:20 am and were enjoying post round cocktail by 1pm.
Fantastically laid out
We had a great time at this course. It was very well laid out and just the right amount of difficulty. It took us a little longer to play as we had to wait for the group in front of us a d I know we also had people waiting behind us as well. The pace of play picked up toward the back 9. I would definitely go again.
Fun Course
Got there for our 0700 tee time and there was a group of 18 carts about to take off on the front for a private tournament. The pro shop attendee was rude asking how we got a tee time for 0700 and we shouldn't have been able to get one until 730. I told him the 0700 was available on golf now and their OWN website as well when I booked but $10 cheaper on golf now. He was way to angry for it being that early in the morning. Luckily the course was in good shape and there wasn't any waiting on the back. When we got to the front though there were 4 carts waiting to tee off so the back was EXCEPTIONALLY slow. Poor planning on the clubhouse's part. Oh well shot pretty good so can't be to mad.
Better hit the fairway
Due to the extensive rains this spring and early summer, courses across the Omaha area all have challenging, thick rough. Tregaron adds to this with native grass throughout. If you hit an errant shot kiss your ball goodbye. The course is older than most in the Omaha metro area meaning trees also ocassionally come into play. There are some nice elevation changes including the greens, but we did notice that we were repairing a lot of other golfers ball marks on the greens. This course isn't as challenging as Bay Hills to the south, but we had a pleasant experience.
Imaginative layout, fun to play, but don't stray too far off fairways
The course was in fine shape thanks in part to all the rain we've been having these past several weeks. The ball was sitting up on the fairways and holding the greens. To say the rough was lush is an understatement... US Open length which led to lost balls and slow play... still all and all a fun game at a great off-prime time price...
Fun and challening.
My friends and I have golfed this course a few times. We find that it has some challenges but is always enjoyable. Course was in good condition as well.
The course is great. However home on top of home children playing in the backyard and dogs barking gets old after 5 holes.
Employee behind the pro shop was EXTREMELY short in answers and rude. His answer to 75% of our questions was "Your good to go". Having never been to the course we had pretty easy questions. We paid 25$ for a cart and 18 holes which is an awesome deal. However, the gentleman in the pro shop failed to inform us that a mens walking league was in process. We played the front nine in 2 flipping hours and 45 minutes. To try in squeeze in a little extra bang for our buck before dark we attempted to play a few holes on the back nine. 2 holes into that a older employee stopped us and accussed us of playing extra holes. We showed him our score card and assured him we where not in the mood for playing extra holes in the dark with high winds and colder temps. Reminding him the course he works for put us behind a league.
This course has a great layout and challenging fun to play.
Great layout but needs attention as grass was not mowed in a lot of areas possibly due to the amount of rain and cool temperatures. Very challenging and enjoyable holes on the course as well as pretty surroundings.
Diverse challenges throughout the course
Good mix of sand and water hazards throughout the course. A few good picturesque holes. If you have trouble hitting straight off the tee, you may have a little trouble with out of bounce. Over all a really nice course that I plan on playing again.
Fun but challenging
The course groundskeepers have done a wonderful job of keeping the course in great shape over the winter. The course itself start fairly easy then as you play it gets a little more challenging then, it eases up to allow a struggling golfer find their game as they wrap up.
Challenging but enjoyable
Course wasn't in exactly pristine condition but taking in account the time of year (end of March) and the cool weather and snow we've had of late, it was in great shape.
Good course for the money ,Staff very friendly. Tight, you better hit a straight ball
We like the courseexcept for the houses are a little close if you don't hit the ball straight. Has lots of different shots, water, dog legs, slopes and greens that have a lot of breaks. I normally shot 87 and on this course I shot an 80. The course was windy yesterday with winds in excess of 30 miles per hour. The staff was very friendly and the drinks are very resonable.
The course is in good shape and has a great mix of difficulty on the holes.
The course was in pretty good condition considering the super hot summer we had. The greens were in fair to good shape and the fairways were in good shape.
well maintaineed
for the fourth week of november the coarse was still well maintained..
