Overall a good time
The course was cheap on the app after 4 and was a good time minus the slow play but it was nice to be out!
Fantastic value!
Really great city course for the value! I play 1-2 times a week all over the country and it’s hard to beat this place. Course was in great shape and for the time of year pace of play was not an issue at all. Definitely play if you’re in Kearney.
Beautiful greens and fairways
We were visiting from Colorado and were so impressed by the conditions of the course. The fairways were lush and the greens were in such great shape! The snack bar staff was not very friendly but the guys in the clubhouse were good. A great value and fun round!
in Kearney??? Play here!
I was a single going off at 8 a.m. after all of the regulars teed off. I was concerned that this would turn in to a LONG boring round. I was wrong. The course is in fabulous shape. I played the tips, and kept the driver in the bag most of the round. beautiful fairways, undulating greens, and most importantly a great group of members that were more than welcome to let you play through if they were holding you up. My only requests and I am getting picky is to speed up the greens a little as well as add a little sand to the bunkers. Other than that I got a great deal to play, played in just a shade under 3 hrs, and had a wonderful time playing.
Well maintained course
7:00 am tee time for 9 holes. Started on back 9. George outs. Maintenance crew should be proud!
Love this course. But the staff needs work.
Meadowlark Hill is a great course, The fairways are in great shape the greens well cared for and roll true. My only complaint is that when I checked in for my round I was met by a condescending employee at the desk. When I checked in I was told that since we had booked a deal online we had to wait till all the players that booked the deal arrived as they could not send a twosome off early unless we were members. I could understand this if they were busy fine however he then sent a single a twosome and another single before us and a twosome after us followed by another single. I play this course 2 to 3 times a week and have never been treated like i was today. And this was entirely because i saved a little money booking a hot deal. I will seriously consider ever going back there are other courses in the area that would like to have my business and don't look down on me when i try to save a little money. The course is a great course but if you enjoy a friendly staff that appreciates you coming out to play you should look at Awarii Dunes and Prairie Hills.
Scenic
Not an easy course for older ladies but this was more for a social event.
Early Season
We have been fortunate enough to get out a handful of times already and it's only mid March. Meadowlark is in great condition for the time of the year. Front 9 plays more open and the back has some tight windows off the tee. Tons of elevation change and some very tricky greens make for a heck of a good time!
Excellent Greens
I wasn't expecting much in the middle of Nebraska so I was pleasantly surprised when I played here. The course is challenging, very well kept, and the greens rolled as good as any I've played in a while.
Meadowlark
Great Public Course.. Gets busy on the weekends. Great Challenging course.
nice course
The course was in good shape. Our group had a great time.
Nice Course
Enjoyed playing this course!! I would recommend this course. Play 9 or 18 or 27 like I did!
Great play
Course in good shape greens recovering from winter well.
Great course!
Meadowlark is my favorite course in the Kearney area. It is well kept and challenging. The greens are still suffering some from "winter kill", but the rest of the course is great. The pros and the rest of the staff are great with good customer service.
