This course is in fabulous condition! The fairway turf is dense. The subsoil is medium soft. Excellent to hit off. The greens are bent grass!! This is the very best grass to hit approach shots into and to putt on. The approach shots I hit with my hybrids only rolled out 2-6 ft! The greens are difficult to read, particularly in terms of speed! The course layout is challenging, beautiful and fair. Good shots are rewarded. Bad shots do not ruin your score.
The only criticism I have is that too many players fail to repair their ball marks on the greens! This is unacceptable. Bent grass is a luxury that must be pampered, not taken for granted.
Enjoyable course
It was extremely hot. Had five family members playing together. We kept pace with suggested time of play. Fairways were wide and course was in good shape.

Never again!!!
Poor course management. Never in my 30+ years of playing all over the country have I shared a hole with 4 other groups. Played 2 holes in 40 minutes. Called the clubhouse after playing 2 holes and explained the situation. Their response was sorry, They were only willing to refund 9 holes if we quit. When we got to clubhouse they only gave us $40 of our $120 back.

Nice course, fun to play
Course had a lot of character and a lot of challenging holes. Very nice greens and a welcoming staff. Great experience. Would definitely play again.

Nice course, could use some improvements
The marshal/starter was a little cranky when checking in. The course was in great shape for the most part. Rough was very thick in most areas and very challenging. The pace was good for 4 holes then the brakes got slammed on. There was a group of 6 several holes ahead of us holding the entire course up. The round took 4.5 hours to complete, we were on pace for 3 hours.
Meh
Nothing great. Layout is meh. Decent. Could be better. Okay.
Horrible Staff
Staff treats golf now users like trash. Booked via pay now and course would not honor my tee time even with confirmation email. However, they would let me play if I payed again via the club house for a tee time an hour after what I had originally booked and payed for. Anyway if you want to go pay to be treated like a second class golfer go for it.
Drinks
Everything was great except took too long to get drinks for course and we ended up being late for our tee time .
Awsome
As always, this place is in great condition and since we played after lunch the pace was great. Only complaint..”you’re early but you’re not teeing off early”. Um…okay.
Always great
Long drive to the ranger and counter person was a bit snarky but otherwise this course has a outstanding. There’s a bit of construction on the course but it had no bearing on the quality of this course.
One of the better courses in NWA
Fairly new to the area and haven’t found a lot of courses that I enjoy. I will be back to this one. It’s challenging but fair. Price was right and the course was in pretty good shape
