Beautiful Golf Course
I haven’t been able to stop talking about this course since I played here. I’m from Southern California and I’ve played at almost every golf course here and this course is better than almost all of them. This is before taking into account the price, which I still can’t believe how inexpensive it is, and pace of play. Didn’t have to wait at one tee box. The layout is challenging but every hole can be birdied. Greens were perfect, fairways were awesome and the staff is friendly. This is my first review for a golf course. If you live or visit Bentonville, AR. you have to play this golf course.
Bella Vista Gem
First time to play here. Was not disappointed . Staff at pro shop were friendly and helpful.
Very challenging course. Hole locations on the greens were on some tough angles and undulation’s. Many tree lined fairways and several water hazards. Weather was perfect around 70 with no wind.
Course was in very good shape and they had nice clean carts. This course is well taken care of.
Afterward, dinner at the clubhouse was very good. Great food and again, excellent staff at this restaurant.
Was day 2 of a 3 day golf excursion.. looking forward to tomorrow at Dogwood Hills. Will be back here again!
Looking a little rough
I played here last summer and it was awesome- greens were great and rough and fairways were maintained well. Yesterday was totally different. Fairways were looking decent but the greens were really really bad. Had crab grass growing all over the greens and fringe. I’m not sure what’s going on because it normally looks awesome. Just didn’t play like it normally does.
Disappointed
I play many other courses in NW Arkansas and I understand it has been a hot and dry summer. However, the greens on this course are horrible, not like any I have seen in the area. The dead patches, fungus or whatever, dark black spots were on almost all of the greens. Many areas should have been marked as ground under repair. The overall course was well maintained, good layout, a bit challenging and fun, until you get on the greens. I am glad I got a prepaid deal for less than $30 each on Military Tee Times. I definitely would not pay their overpriced greens fees.
The course was not in good shape. Fairways were pretty good but the greens were very slow with tons of ball marks. Looks like there was a good amount of construction going on as we were detoured more than once getting from greens to the next tees. I almost joined this association when I moved to the area…. I’m glad I didn’t.
