Twin Oaks Golf Club

The fairway is like the rough and the rough is much rougher. Greens have blades going different directions so a putt can go in five different directions. Very similar to putting on carpet. From Charlotte it is not worth the drive.

So not my first choice when looking for a golf course. It needs some work. But I did enjoy myself and played well. They really should think about improving the tee time schedule. It was out of control. The pace of play was nonexistent, 5+ hours for 18 holes and that witnessed a group of 3 turn in to a group of 5, which i heard happens often. Lol, but I love the game and luckily I didn't have anything planned for that day but golf.

Greens were NOT playable. Bumpy, rough, long, patchy, bare spots on greens, cart path was very rough, backed up the whole day due to incompetence of scheduled tee times. Will never go back. Waste of money and time.

You get what you pay for, decent layout, greens are close to unplayable…politcal signage in and around pro shop, I was blocked in parking lot which is too small with trucks parked on both sides…course has potential and would return for early tee time but seen major backups as I was leaving…

I played by myself early Monday morning (7:30am) the staff was very accommodating and I got through all 18 in 2.5 hours.

Course is beautiful, great cost. Greens are in bad shape though. Bumpy and slow, hopefully they get fixed soon. Would love to play this course again.

perfectly normal course for the $37 fee I paid. Nothing super special, nothing bad. bang on average for what I expected

Staff was extremely friendly. But had people jumping tee times right at start which jumbled everything up. Fairways were in good shape. But green and cart paths were rough

This course is cheap but not even worth it. The only reason I booked a tee time is due to availability at my other courses. Many holes lined up right next to each other and tee boxes directly behind greens. It’s very dangerous especially since inexperienced players are playing it for the cheap price. My girlfriend and I almost got hit every other hole. They over book the place and there’s no starter to help maintain pace of play. It took us 6 hours to play 18 holes.

Rain overnight apparently encouraged the workers to close the course; however, before my teetime no one answered the phone, no message on phone regarding status and no information on website regarding status. After a half hour drive, gate closed with no reason why. First time trying, probably the last time.
