Excellent!
I played Trump National Charlotte as part of a tournament. The club is really, really top notch in all aspects, from course to amenities to staff. The course itself reminds me a lot of courses on the west side of Lake Norman (i.e. Verdict Ridge), but is a little nicer, and obviously winds it way around Lake Norman. The greens are quite large and were some of the fastest I've ever putted on. There are lots of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies in the fairways. Position off the tee is important to be able to get at some of the greens. There are quite a few doglegs, and a couple of blind tee shots. The landing areas on most holes are fairly ample, and while most greens are deep, there are a couple that are wide and shallow. Obviously all of the amenities are first class. The carts had the cushiest seats I've ever seen. The on-course restrooms had marble floors and gold fixtures. The practice areas are top notch with an excellent range, short game area, and putting green. There is also the trademark Trump fountain and large flagpole. This is not a walking course.
Going to play it on Sunday with a member. I’m extremely excited. Any pointers would be great
