Very nice, challenging golf course. The rough wasn't fun to hit. I was always just sitting on the hard ground.
Never Again
Played there recently and it was a 6+ hour round and I will never play this course again. The course has a habit of sending out groups of five and today was no different. Today on the front, we had two groups of five in front of us. At one point, there was a group off nine players on the green at one time. TOTALLY ridiculous! No Ranger on the course either.
Rough Course Conditions/Pace of Play
This course scheduled way too many people and had the ranger out there rushing people. So many areas were under repair or cart path only. Several balls were lost just right off the fairway bc they didn’t cut any of the grass. The city has chosen not to maintain this course and it shows, in addition at 52.00 a person I shouldn’t have people in front of me where I can’t hit and people hitting behind me all day. Please do better. I probably won’t play here again. Never saw one course maintenance guy or mower out there at all.
Our bunch of Seniors played the up tees and it was just right for us at about 5000 yds. Good shape, fun and challenging to play. Thanks
Great shape, good test
Course had a typical city course layout, a lot of doglegs and mature trees. Course was in great shape. The only slight exception was the fairways were a little thin on a few holes on the back nine. Greens were fast and not holding which added some difficulty but very fair. Overall, an enjoyable afternoon. Played in about 3.5 hours.
great golf
course excellent conditions tees, faiways, greens-hard to believe this is a public course run by the city of Akron-got a deal 21 dollars usually 28 dollars -all courses around are 40 dollars foe 18 with a cart and their conditions no better than this. such a pleasant round-you must play this on a monthly basis.
good park
Course was in decent shape, back nine was a little bit wet rough was pretty long !!
Wet!!!
We’ve had rain for 5 days straight. The should not have been open, it was like playing a swamp ☹️. Even places that looked dry were swampy. I like this course but should only be played in June, July, August and early September.
Good condition boring layout
This is a muni course and in good shape but it’s a horrible layout. Very boring, every house is the same. The tee box lengths are bad, 6300 from white 5,500 from senior. Got a great deal so was a good value but if you have to pay regular price,
