B at Seneca Golf Course

What a shame- course is in great shape. We were a twosome sent off behind a 4-some (including a walker), 3-some and a single, in that order. The 2 groups ahead wouldn’t let the single play through until the 5th hole. After that, we never were given the opportunity to play through, even as one of the players in front of us was CLEARLY just learning. Once we made the turn, the 4-some finished and thought we were good to go. NOPE. The 3-some not only didn’t let us play through while we literally were sitting ON THE TEE BOX WITH THEM, but they decided to play multiple balls EACH on every hole from #12 on. Unacceptable, ridiculous and from what I understand typical of this course. No rangers enforcing pace. End of the day it took us over 5 hrs as a 2-some.

We’ve golfed this course as many times in the past prior to the Cleveland Metro Park taking it over. The 18 that we golfed was in good condition, and construction was underway for the additional 18. Can’t wait to play that new one soon. The driving range is an extra perk. First class clubhouse with some great swag and a fully stocked bar. We’ll definitely be back.

Staff is rude, grounds keepers where on our butts the whole round. I’ve played other courses and there never this intrusive. Giant running lawn mower less than 5 ft from me just blankly staring at me. Tried to wave them off, just ignored us and kept interrupting our game.

Been 15 years since I’ve played here. The course was beautiful. The rangers are super nice. The bar and clubhouse workers were awesome. I’ll def be back soon. I’d recommend this course to anyone.

There were too many golfers. Very slow play.

Course was in poor condition fairways more resemble the rough at a lot of clubs. The greens were very shaggy and slow. Does not seem

like much has been done to them this year. On a positive note they are installing a large practice facility just outside a the clubhouse. This place has a long way to go in this market to warrant the $48 green fees. I’m going to give them a few months to get conditions improved and then I’ll try playing here again. Stay tuned.

Course overall in pretty good shape. People who work here are nice enough. The only thing I found a bit annoying is the number of “those guys” hitting from the tips. Course is all you want from the white tees fellas. Group in front of us all hit 2 balls off the first tee-from the blues.

After reading reviews I was expecting the worse but pleasantly surprised at how nice the course was. Loved the course layout and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely play again in the spring!
