Situated between Cleveland and Akron, Hinckley Hills Golf Course sprawls across the rolling hills of northeastern Ohio. In addition to the 18-hole championship course, there is also a short course called the Buzzard's Nest. This course features five par-4 holes that are located right in the middle of the championship course. It's a great option if you don't have time for a full 18 holes. Hinckley Hills' longer course is a challenging test that will have you using all the clubs in your bag. The undulating greens and lush contoured fairways demand accuracy, especially when coupled with the abundant woodlands. The golf course is a seemingly manageable 6,500 yards from the back tees but it can feel much longer thanks to the hilly terrain. There are also a few water hazards to watch out for.

Good course
The tea boxes were heavily messed up the greens weren’t that great but overall was a good course. I shot my best score ever at this course not too difficult not too easy. I would suggest to play there, especially for the cost. The cost is very reasonable.
Course needs work
My playing partner put it best when he said the greens look like “old green and brown boat carpet”. I’ve played at this course quite a bit in the last 20 years and this was definitely the worst it has looked when I’ve played there. Not only were the greens brown, they have a lot of thin spots or little cuts. I hope they can get it back to its former glory but it needs quite a bit of TLC
Condition was very poor
I’ve played this course for years and this round was pretty sad. The greens looked like old brown and green boat carpet, almost unplayable. The rest of the course was ok, but the greens made it almost pointless to keep score. The staff in the clubhouse was very nice, and everything was clean. Without the very good deal for 18 holes and cart from Golf Now, I would not play here.
Hole 13 is ridiculous
Hole number 13 is totally ridiculous . Terrible hole design. Some tees and greens are dried out and poor condition.

Really good course if your not behind a very slow 4some.
Always a second go-to
Tough course, all hill but challenging. Greens are not in good shape. Fairways just ok and depends on hole. Rough always need cut at this course. The woman who is owner or manager is never pleasant but the young lady behind counter was very nice.
I said yes to recommending this course because you can usually get out but is never a first choice to play.
It seems they need maintenance workers to tend to course in a constant manner.
Greens Sucked
Apparently, they cross cut these greens within the past week or so …absolutely terrible to putt on. Had I known this was done would never have played the course… even when conditions are perfect, there are several holes that seem to be an afterthought at best.
