Sleepy Hollow Golf Course is the top municipal course in the state and it is also ranked as one of the top 20 in the nation. Overlooking the Cuyahoga River Valley, the course is known for its scenery almost as much as its challenging layout. It has a traditional design with a classic "out-and-in" routing, with the incoming holes playing uphill into the wind, making them seem much longer than the indicated yardage. Golfers might be taken aback by the punishing nature of the golf course. There are 58 bunkers strategically placed around the tough greens, which comprise the main challenges of the course. Get ready to be quickly introduced to the Sleepy Hollow Golf Course's formidability with the lengthy second hole, a par 3 that will test even the longest hitters.

Better find the Fairways
Fastest Greens I played this year (even Firestoe) Rough was thick but grass not high as it should be but hard to find balls just off fairways. Some hard to read movement on greens Know I realuze what pros deal with weekly! Ill be back!!!!
Great course
Great course with an awesome layout. The greens are in great shape, the fairways are great, and overall the course is very well maintained. The only real issues I’ve noticed are that all of the par-3 tee boxes could definitely use new sod. Like hitting out of a bunker!
Other than that, I really don’t have many complaints. The course is a lot of fun to play and has a great overall design. Easily a top-10 course I’ve played in Ohio.
GolfNow allowed me to book 18 hole tee time. Course had a tournament so told me I could go elsewhere. I prepaid and GolfNow does not have an easy method to contact them. Can’t reply to reservation email, no phone number, no email address. Needed to file dispute with credit card company since GolfNow could not be contacted.
Been here before
I've been playing Sleepy for over 40 years. Right now the greens, rough and fairways are in the best condition that they have been during that time. The only part of the course that is a bit of a let down are the teeing grounds.
I would recommend this course to the better golfer.
Great Value
This course is easily worth twice what they charge for Greens fees. The course was an excellent shape, the Ranger was present throughout our round to ensure Pace of play but never interrupted or complained to us as we were generally close to Pace of play.
The menu and food quality at the clubhouse were outstanding and very reasonably priced.
There was a beer cart available on the course throughout our round.
The clubhouse staff starter, Ranger and Cart girls were all out outstanding. This course is easily my favorite of the Metro parks courses.
Beware of fast greens with tricky breaks!
Callenging Course
Sleepy Hollow is a challenging course from tee to green, but the real "stars" of the course are the greens. They are fast with a lot of contour. Only complaint would be that a few of the tees were in need of grass and leveling.
Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Brecksville
Very nice course with a beautiful view. Course was in very good shape on the back nine. Front nine was closed for maintenance. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. The only thing to point out is that some of the greens are steeply sloped and fast, so if you’re not an excellent putter, it’s easy to have a birdie putt but walk off with a bogey or worse.
