Briarwood Golf Course

I highly recommend this course to any weekend muni warrior or a country club regular. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The course is in great shape. The greens are pristine, and the fairways are plush. It is a challenging, yet forgiving course with tons of fun holes. The 19th hole has every beer imaginable with tvs playing throughout. Definitely coming this summer!

I had a great time playing Briarwood. The course was wet, but it's been raining a lot. They will be fixing parts of the cart paths this spring! Very exciting. Can't wait to come back when the weather is nice!

I tried canceling my reservation via GolfNow on Friday 2/16 because of the upcoming weather advisory. It kept saying there was an error when processing so I waited until Saturday morning to try and cancel again, same issue. It was well before the 24+ hour cancel mark but of course after the 24+ mark it let me cancel. I called Briarwood and asked if they were open on Saturday 2/17 and the man there said it was closing down because of how much snow there was. He also mentioned not being open for the morning/afternoon of Sunday 2/18. I called Sunday morning to see how the greens were looking but the weather was still bad and I assumed they were closed. Would I be able to get like some credit from either GolfNow or even Briarwood since I paid for 5 people to come golf?

Staff was super friendly and course for time of year was in great condition

we play here about twice a week. it's a good course. we're excited for their upcoming renovations this spring.

We played on Thursday, October 5 and it was a great time. I would recommend this course to anyone.

First time playing. Good elevation change, good variety, good mix of challenges hole to hole. Greens ran true, faster than they look. Like a discount pine hills. Overall fun round.

Negatives: cart paths are bumpy, low areas were wet even tho we haven’t had rain, overall conditioning not the best.

Would recommend for a no frills experience where you’re looking for a challenge.

Cart paths need major repairs It is uncomfortable to ride on current conditions.

There is no control over pace of play.

Fairways and greens were on decent condition

Used to play here frequently and decided to visit the course again yesterday. Very disappointed in the course conditions, standing water, tire skids around the greens, the rough is as tall and thick as the Open. Because of it lost many balls that couldn’t be seen in the rough. The carts were filthy with debris and old mud. Not going back anytime soon.

Cart paths are a mine field, and driving on the course is not much better. After 3 holes waited on every shot. Took 3 hours to play the back 9 even with a cart. This used to be a good course and they ruined it by seling some of the lan d and reconfiguring some of the holes.

Overall a very nice course. I have played it several times. This time I am not sure if it was just the rain or some drainage issues but the course was extremely wet in areas! Don’t get me wrong I will be back again.

Good layout from the front to back. Nice conditions. Greens were tough but reasonable.

Greens were in great shape! Something to be aware of though - we had the first tee time of the day and made the turn in an hour and a half. On 10 we discovered that multiple groups were put out off the back in front of us, which significantly slowed our pace of play.
