Wyandot Golf & Dining

About
Wyandot Golf & Dining (previously known as Wyandot Golf Course) has a versatile playability that appeals to a variety of players from beginners to more advanced golfers looking to work on their short game. Although it is player-friendly enough for those without much experience, there are plenty of trees along the fairways and sand bunkers bordering the greens that present formidable challenges. Despite having some densely wooded areas, some holes are more open and forgiving towards errant shots. There are also ponds and streams throughout the course that come into play on almost half of the holes. The terrain is mostly flat with only a few mild undulations, making it an enjoyable golf course to walk. The speed on Wyandot's medium-sized greens depends on the season but they are always in good condition.

Good Value Course
For the cost of a tee time it’s hard to beat this course in the area. I live about 5 minutes from here so it’s convenient to play here on a regular basis. There isn’t too much to complain about, but don’t go in expecting a pristine course. The day I played the greens were hard as a rock, landing the ball on the green pretty much guaranteed it was going to roll right off the back. I think I only fixed 2 ball marks all day, the rest of the time there was no mark to be found. Also, the fairways desperately need to be mowed. The only difference between hitting from the fairway and the rough was the lack of broken sticks or tree roots. There were a couple times I couldn’t see my ball in the fairway because it was sitting down in the grass. Again it’s a great value course in the area as everywhere else is pretty much $55-$70 to play on a weekday.
Great casual round
Wyandot is, a scenic treasure with woods and water, well cared-for, and a terrific value.
I played early so a bit of fog and wet grass was typical. The greens were quick and well maintained, with challenging pin placements. This is a shorter course - so very playable for all skill levels. The staff couldn't have been any nicer or accommodating. It was a real pleasure to enjoy a round on a lovely Sunday morning. - The pace of play was just right and the other golfers all seemed to be courteous and experienced in etiquette.

Nice Place. Lady behind counter very friendly. Course a little wet. Pretty Good shape.
Solid Course for the price.
This has always been a good course for the price. This course always tends to be soft and wet whenever it rains around time of the round. I wish the tee boxes could be in better condition as they were very patchy and was often hard to find grass to hit off of on certain holes.
Expectations are solid
Course has steadily improved over the years. Never any surprises and always accommodating. Greens always in great condition and good challenge for any experience level.
Course needs some work.
The greens were OK. Fairways, tee boxes, and cart paths need work. The staff is very friendly. I'd play there again if the price is right, and the weather is nice.
Good value
First time visit. The course doesn’t have any remarkable or unusual features, but it’s not expensive and the course and greens were in good condition. It provides a great opportunity to get on—course work in very inexpensively. It was busy, but staff was friendly and welcoming. And overall a good experience.

The course is great shape for so early in the season. The greens are a little slow but that's normal. Greenkeeper has worked his tail off and it shows. Only thing missing is sand traps. If you go in the summer, you'll see one of the most impressive pollinator gardens I've ever seen. Also, the restaurant on site, Egg Mann's eatery is five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

It is a great value. I have played the course for a long time and it is in as good of shape as it has ever been. The people at the course genuinely appreciate your business.
Amazing place
Just started going here this month, we were able to get two rounds of 18 in under 4 hours both times. Staff if very friendly and inviting, great course to play at. Definitely will continue to make this a place we play at.
Course could be good
This course has an interesting layout. However, the conditions are rough. Last season the ground was hard as a rock on the greens/fairway/rough/teebox. Was excited to come back due to it being spring time. Ground was not that hard. The greens were burnt and very hard. Fairways were ok, but it was hard to tell if you were in rough or the fairway. Ground was very bumpy. This course is good if there is no other options open. Would only recommend paying less then $25 for 18.
Hopefully conditions improve as the season goes but doubt it.
Much Improved
It’s been a year since I last played Wyandot and it’s much improved from the clubhouse to the green. Keep up the good work!
