what happened to this place?
This course used to be in very good condition with green fairways, now the fairways are more brown than green, the greens are burned out and the tee boxes are a joke. Do not waste your time or money at this neglected dump.
Fairways and rough were horrible again
Played 3 weeks ago and the place was like a cow pasture...fresh cut grass all over the fairways and rough was nearly unplayable. Thought after 3 weeks course conditions would have improved but sadly they did not . Will not play this course again until maybe early fall. Maybe by then it will be in better condition.
Going Downhill Fast
I used to love this course. Not anymore. I play early mornings but I've never seen the sprinklers on, and it shows. Fairways and some greens are burned out. Tee boxes are on a tilt. They charge weekend rates on Friday. The 11th senior tee box sums it up. There are weeds growing up on the front edge that you have to hit through because they are too lazy to trim them. I can't believe people are paying $62 to play here!! Very sad.

I was surprised to see some Nast spots on the fairways and greens. Not sure what happened but I'm guessing it will be remedied soon.

Overall, the course is in good shape. Some fairways and greens are drying out, and could use some water.
Disappointed
This use to be a great course. The greens and fairways are awful. Not worth the money.
The rough was rough!!
Love the course greens are nice the but the roughs here were ridiculous!!
Nice course
We have played St. Denis a few times already this year. The rough, was very rough maybe 3 to 4”. Had a tuff time locating our golf balls. I guess that’s the punishment for not being in the fairway.
Would definitely play again.
We love St. Denis nowadays!
Have had a great few rounds there recently. Greens and fairways are in great shape and the course is very well managed. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend
Fun course.
Play here every year and like the course. Greens and tee boxes have def been in better shape in the past but still had a good time with my foursome.
