About
Pickaway Country Club is known for its welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Jack Kidwell, a local architect who designed this course and many others in Central Ohio, utilized his familiarity with the terrain but still kept each golf course distinct. Pickaway has an interesting layout that will test your shot-making abilities and strategy with narrow fairways lined with trees and small, fast greens that are difficult to read. Water hazards come into play on five holes and there are nearly 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout. There is one particularly difficult par-5 hole that requires a 250-yard drive over a meandering creek. Although the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges, they are balanced by a number of wide-open fairways that have ample space.

Not onw od my favorate courses
Tee boxes had not been mowed (long grass).
Fairways were fair, but greens were excellent.
Cart paths were teeth jaring rough. Many front and back nine holes shared the same tee box area which led to two groups congregating in the same area. All ponds were at least partially overed with Algae. The course just did not have an overall pleasing appearance. Will not play there again.
Very nice greens
Very hot and humid day but the course made up for it. Nice fairways and greens.
" Home town" country club feel.
Arrived to find somewhat confusing parking arrangement but easily managed. Somewhat distantly greeted at check in. Course nicely laid out with some challenging approaches and greens. Value for play is fair. Lunch providers experienced, young golfers and easy conversationalist. Enjoyed round after initial intimidation. Would recommend.
Worth the drive!
The course was awesome!. Twist, turns, elevation changes, etc. on nearly every hole. Nice greens.

Play here quite often and enjoy the course each time.
Check farway layout before hitting your drive
Had a great round course in great shape. We have played here before. It has been a while forgot layout. This can get you in trouble.

Even weather of late wet, and carts on path only was required, course was in good shape, greens rolled pretty well, overall very good time. some of the tee boxes and fairways due to rain could be mowed and I would like to try the course later this year
Nice course.
This course is very playable....usually it is very maintained, but with the fall....there were a lot of leaves that caused problems finding balls. I feel like it is a really nice place for women as they have forward tees....I would play here again.
Needs mowed
This is the second time I have played this course. The first time I played here, I really enjoyed the round. When I played this time, I was disappointed in the tee boxes and fairways. I realize that the season is about over but the tee boxes and fairways really needed mowed. I teed off a few holes and the grass was taller then my teed-up ball. Once in the fairway, there were spots where the grass was just as tall as the ruff. The staff was really friendly and I do really like the course lay-out. I will play here again!!!
Great golf, good time!
Went with a friend, had a great time. The course was in great shape. Bunkers could use some work but there had been some rain over night. Speed of play was super because the course was not very busy. Staff was friendly and had us on our way quickly!
The course is great , even after a storm that blew down several tree's.
Could not beat a day on the course with the family, my boys love to play and we had a great time. Can't beat the golf now deal for a family to play golf and afford it !!
Fun course to play
Fun course to play on it rained a little but cleared up by the back nine and the staff was very friendly
Great course, cold beer and pretty girls.
I arrived at the course about 15 minutes before my tee time and was quickly greeted by a young lady. She was polite and took my printed out GOLFNOW.COM sheet and said “enjoy your golf” and handed me the keys to the cart. The course was well maintained and clean. The greens were lush and tight and the fair ways were just as nice. I shot par on hole 7 and 8. At the turn I stopped in to the club house and enjoyed a delicious hotdog and a couple beers. The rest of the course was challenging but fun. Hole 18 was great and you must use your brains as much as your brawn to achieve a good score. I look forward to coming back very soon to play again.

This a nice course. Nice layout and smooth, fast greens. Only complaints: stacked tees and rundown cart path.

Wonderful course that will challenge any golfer. Staff is very friendly and club house is a fun place to hang out! Highly recommend!
NICE GREENS
Greens are great ,smooth with a nice pace. nice freindly staff. Great price for value. family freindly course with some challange for lower handicaps.

the course was fun to play, was a little confusing to follow on a few holes as the tee boxes were stacked on top of each other but on a second round would not be as hard to follow.over all very enjoyable!
Not overly difficult, very nice greens
Like the course, the greens are well kept and challenging. I'd call the course before you reserve a tee time, they often have outings but have GolfNow tee times listed anyway. The pro is very accomodating, a couple of the younger staff members not very friendly.
