Played this course years ago
I wasn't expecting much. It's an older course that could be so much better if they put money/ effort into it. I know this iscoming off a little negative and I really don't mean to be. However, I played this course many years ago and it was in better shape. That is above and beyond factoring in the time of year with the leaves falling. I will try it again in the late spring to see if I am being unfair or not.

Course is looking so much better than it was over the summer months. Came back this weekend and honestly was so surprised and this was right after we heard they aerated the greens last week. which is good to hear! Course was having a tough go in August and this time around you could never tell. Greens were in such better shape/ fairways were also full and green again. Got some leaves falling now but thats fall golf. Beautiful with the trees changing. Staff is always very friendly, just a great day for golf especially in October.

Probably one of the worst kept courses I’ve ever played. It’s a real shame because it has a very nice layout. The greens are atrocious, crab grass growing through some of the greens, bare spots , some tee boxes are just mud no grass. Bridges look like their falling to the point you’ll think twice before driving over them, if you play in the morning the greens aren’t rolled or leafs cleared until late morning so you’ll be putting through piles of leafs. Still scratching my head how they charge $60 on weekends. I’ve played there a few times on GN hot deals for $26 and even that’s too much to play in those conditions. Horrible . On the other hand staff is great, but that about the only good thing about the course.

Never again
It was a waste of money and time. Never again. We came out after 9 holes.
Honestly do not know what one would expect from a public golf course. Minebrook has made improvements in their greens and sand traps over the 2022 season. Playing preferred lies, or "winter rules" greatly helps the experience. Please don't expect perfection.
First rnd of golf at Minebrook Golf course
The surroundings were beautiful. Tall trees lining the fairways. The course was challenging on many holes and a bit easier on dome specially the par 3's. Greens and around the greens was quite good.
some fairways had a bit of bald patches, but does'nt take anything away from a decently maintained golf course. Expensive affair to maintain a golf course ( my personsl experience in Mumbai, India.).
Overall a very satisfying experience. Thank you.
Not what you expect
The course is beat to no end. No one is taking care of this course. No ranger so pace of play was horrible. The greens are bumpy and the tee box is chewed up. Never returning and that's a sad day.

Fairways and rough ok, but greens and tee boxes not good. But the course is always playable, the staff friendly, usually not crowded weekdays, and you can’t beat the price.

What once was
Haven't played here in a few years. Course used to be in nice shape. Grass on greens and fairway was same length. Greens were covered in weeds. And the tee boxes were so rock solid I broke multiple tees trying to stick them in. Shame. I used to love this course

Failure to maintain
My first time playing here this year. The owners have not kept up with maintaining Mine Brook. Many of the fairways were not fair. Eroded and weedy was the usual. The Greens were barren and have weeds throughout. I played as a single on the Saturday before Labor Day at 8:40. By myself. No one wants to play here because of the poor conditions. The Staff was very friendly though. The neglect felt like the owners are looking to sell the place. What a shame if more condos go in.
Greens are green (not barren) and traps are improving. They are short handed there, hopefully that will improve.
