Worst course in NJ
Concrete and sand tee boxes. Might be in the running for worst course in the US. I don’t think any maintenance is ever performed on this course. Number one on my do not play list going forward.
You do realize there are 5 people that run the entire golf course. You want to complain…complain to the corporation that owns Minebrook. CBIGG They won’t give them the funds to hire more people or repair the course. These guys are doing tbe best they can with bare bones staff.

Dirt patch
Couldn't even get the tee in the ground! I have been through many owners and a league. Gave it a shot cause of time restraints. I wouldn't play there if the round was free !!
Complain to the owners of the course. 5 people running the whole course and they always have a smile on their face. Give the staff some credit.

Needs TLC
Nice course layout. Sprinklers were on during play on 1/3 of the hole, Between 10-2pm. The greens had a lot of weeds.

Great value play - pace is always pretty slow but what can you do? Tee boxes are in rough shape but the weather and lack of rain sure as heck haven’t helped.

The price was very good $59.900 with cart for two people. but you definitely get what you pay for. The tee boxes had either no grass or very high uncut grass abd the ground was as hard as cement. Broke 10 tees trying to get them in the ground. Fairways in poor shape and grass was long even in the middle of the fairway.. The greens were a total joke covered with weeds and bare spots. It would not be so bad if they informed you ahead of time that the course was in such poor shape. If yoiu treat it like a practice course with the cheap price it os Ok but not if you are looking to play a serious round of golf.

You get what you pay for here
Worth regular $28 M-Th fee ( with cart) in no way is the $60 weekend fee worth it. If you are looking for nice conditions this is not the course for you. Decent layout with Mountain View’s good pace of play best for locals.

Could be a true hidden gem IF….
IF they cared more about greens and tee box conditions, I would play here all of the time. The layout is fun and we never have a hard time find tee times. Cost is appropriate. Great course for beginners who dont care about course conditions. Now that I am more serious about scoring in my fifth year of playing, this course is almost impossible to score because the greens are in such bad shape. The tee boxes are atrocious too. If they ever decided to make these flaws better, it would truly be a hidden gem of a value. Fix the issues and then I would gladly pay $80 with cart.

This course is in horrific shape. Do not waste your money on this course until they starting making it playable. Trust me!

Sad state of affairs.
I’ve never lost balls in a fairway, but it’s possible here. Random holes in the fairway, overgrown. Some tee boxes are as long as the rough or longer! Crabgrass and rocks in the bunkers. You’re taking your life into your hands driving over the dilapidated bridges that go over the creeks. Some are clearly broken or are about to break. Terrifying and yet, sad. There is no pride of management or ownership in this course. They are an accident away with the bridges from being shut down and quite frankly, they deserve it. Never playing here again until ownership changes, it’s just a sad course.

Terrible
This course has some of the worst tee boxes, fairways, and greens I have ever seen. I’d rather buy 3 beers that were $20 each than ruin my morning on this terrible course. 1/10. Absolutely terrible experience

Bad shape!
Have not played this course in many years, rough, fairway it’s all the same. Greens are not watered and have various forms of vegetation growing on them besides grass. Looks like majority of golfers on the course like playing music for all to hear. I would not care if the charges were 30-35 for a round, but for 60+ bucks you can find gems elsewhere that are at least maintained.
