Lovely Staff, Course In Repair
I have hope in the personnel to turn this place around, but it’s no where near acceptable yet. I’ve played here multiple times this season and pace of play seems to get worst throughout the year. I quit on the 14th hole because it was that unbearable. Pace of play is 14 minutes per hole, but each tee time is 10 minutes apart. Doesn’t make sense especially with the novice crowd they attract. I would apply to be weekend ranger if they allowed me.
If you’re lucky to get out before any groups, expect to play on sandy and rough green conditions. The practice green pretty much says it all with what you should expect. Also lucky if you get out without the course being flooded and cart path only.
Again, I absolutely love the people who work here, and hate that I’m writing this, but should be for-warned that this course is in desperate repair right now. Best of luck to ownership and know they will turn this place around!
Carlos collazo
Coures not in good shape and lots of bugs. T boxes were in terible shape. Green bumpy and some had weeds and some were just sand. .with that being said i know its new owners amd hopefully they will make improvments for next season.
Not quite there yet
Very friendly staff, course conditions were barely playable, greens covered with either sand and/or crabgrass. Lots of potential and very nice layout, but the overall conditions of the course need to improve greatly before I'll be back.
Bring Extra Balls
Bring cases of balls. Fairway grass is just as high as the rough, which is near ankle height. Tee box grass is what I’d expect another courses rough to be. Greens have dirt pockets. Course doesn’t drain. Have extra socks and extra balls. August play and the course is in winter condition. Wouldn’t play again unless it was for $15 and a case of beer
Course was as expected
Course was as expected lift of rain day before and has been closed for a while. Was as expected and think it will get even better with time.
Under new ownership
We live very close to this course. Would love to make this place my second home. It's now under new ownership. Club house is under construction. Being petty. Score cards are print outs from a computer printer. Some of the greens need attention. The potential at this course is huge. Hope they get it sorted out soon.
Improving but greens/tee boxes need to be the focus
We see a lot of renovation at the course which is promising but the greens are almost unplayable and are getting worse.
Getting better
Since new ownership, the course is beginning to look better.
Enjoyable time
For the convenience of a local course it’s very close. The new owners seem to be working on it to make it better each day. Nice work.
Under repair
...have played this course for years and watched it deteriorate under corporate ownership .... new family owners seem to be committed to improvements , slowly but surely .... hoping for the best

Two holes were closed due to flooding. But some others were very soggy with puddles. The course should have been closed. The greens were awful. Sand traps were almost all rocks. Pace was very very very slow. We played nine holes in three hours. I think the New owners should put in better drainage and put money into the greens. Overall, a bad experience.
I have played this track twice now, great place to practice all your shots- greens do need some work, and alot of water issues- drainage is a problem. They are making alot of repairs to bridges and I will continue to play on this great layout.
New Ownership has some work to do
New ownership took over about two months ago.
Course conditions still iffy with burned greens, chopped up tee boxes, and dead trees/branches.. Staff was extremely friendly and check in is at the Bar. No drink carts were seen and finished the round extremely thirsty. Pace was excellent but may have been due to storms in the area and everyone trying to get their round in. Some improvements are being seen such as the stairs to the 6th tee repaired. Excited to see additional improvements and will come again.
Decent local course
Swampy in some places. Need to address drainage. Greens were totally screwed up. Partial blame for that lies on the players as well. Under New ownership/management. Hopefully they can spruce the place up.
Course needs help! But fun layout
Nice layout. Tee boxes were hammered and tees left all over. Greens looked terrible like they had disease on them. Booked a tee-time and then had to wait for a booked outing to start our round so we teed off 30 minutes late:(. Office should have not booked times during an outing. Course was fun to play and would go back IF they can fix up tee-boxes and save the geeens.
Coming up
This course was in bad shape as of the last few years. It has changed ownership and is on the up already. Spoke with the owner about what goals they had for the course and he said within 45 days the greens will be in better shape than what they are already, which were not bad already, and they are working on undoing the neglect that this course has received from the past owners. Just trying to get the word out because this was one of my favorite courses years ago before it went downhill and I was very impressed at the improvements they have made already.
