Treacherous Conditions! Unplayable
Course is borderline unplayable. While it’s recently under new ownership - only thing they did was change the name and charge $60 a round. No maintenance, upgrades, or updates to the course. Tee boxes were horrific, greens were bare and unplayable. Will not be back!
New Owners
The new owners are making course upgrades and maintenance is showing positive results!
Rock Ridge terrible shape !
Do t play here as the course conditions are terrible.
They need to shut this course down for a month to work on tees, fairways, greens etc to bring this course back to playing status.
Course under new management
The course is not worth $50 a round… the greens and fairways are dried up and bumpy.
I would not recommend this course until the grounds are better managed.
New management
The course has good bones. Under new management and you can already see improvements. Looking forward to see how good they can make it
Dog track
It’s a true dog track, not worth $55 even on a Sunday. Enjoy playing, but only on hot deal days
Ehhh
New ownership, did not honor online price, very dishonest upfront interaction. Will not be coming back after playing and being hyped up by new management/ownership for a least a year until they get their act together. Greens were unplayable not being watered in the morning, mistakes that could not be dismissed.
Challenging but playable for all levels
Course needs some tender loving care. I had a hot deal so I don’t feel so bad.

I would never play this course again, this course should be closed. Terrible greens, tee boxes were like concrete, all dirt

Good value through GolfNow
This is a full size 18 hole course. I do not recommend walking because it is literally built in to the side of a mountain. You would be walking up some significant elevations.
The course was in good condition. The greens were bumpy, but held the line. On several holes if you missed long, just get a new ball ( remember you are playing on a mountain).
Fairways were ok, I only moved my bal twice to get a fair lie. Tee boxes were being worked on so some of them were pretty beaten up.
To be fair, there were 3 holes that were visually stunning and it was worth the price just for that.
Price point was perfect for mid day in NJ.

Staff always great, value is good. Greens are in bad shape and tee boxes need work. Have been playing for years and they’ve let a good course deteriorate. Needs major investment
