Rock Ridge Golf Course

This course was in bad shape as of the last few years. It has changed ownership and is on the up already. Spoke with the owner about what goals they had for the course and he said within 45 days the greens will be in better shape than what they are already, which were not bad already, and they are working on undoing the neglect that this course has received from the past owners. Just trying to get the word out because this was one of my favorite courses years ago before it went downhill and I was very impressed at the improvements they have made already.

For $35 what can you say. Great bang for the Buck. Greens a little rough. Fairways nice and tee boxes were ok. We were a 2 some and teed off around 1:30 ish.

We caught up to a 5 some. Played behind them but passed through after about 2 holes. Then we flew.

Course is right on some holes so accuracy is a premium.

With a little more attention to the greens this place could be a hidden gem

EXTREMELY FRINEDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. Improvements, paths, bridges have been made. Greens are horrible and need complete redo. Price was cheap ($35 w/cart). Would like to go back when all improvements are made, most notably the greens.

I have played this course many times. I see many recent reviews stating the tee boxes are rough and greens are rough, which for some holes are true, but not all. There has been a recent change in management, and for the short period of time there have already been noticeable improvements. I am looking forward to see how this course improves.

This wasn’t a bad price, but the greens really need work. It looks like they’re trying to improve the course (new owners).

The rate of play wasn’t bad.

For the most part the fairways are in good shape and overall considering all the rain the past few days the course was good. But some of the greens are very rough and need work.

Good value from Golf Now deal. Layout is good. Greens do need work.

no tee times between 430 and 6... looked great to cruise through the course. Unfortunately, around 445, league dispursed throughout the course and we became backed up more than expected. will know better next time

While there new ownership the only thing that occurred was price increases. Maintenance on the course is necessary to make it playable. Tee boxes are horrific. Greens are unplayable. It may take 3-4 years to bring it back to playable.

This course was truly a surprise! The layout is challenging but fair. The conditions of the course were also a surpise. Well maintained despite recent change of management. The staff was wonderful and the pace of play was perfect. The price can not be beat!!! Since Hillsboro closed I have been looking for a new course and this is my new fav:)
