About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Very busy
I get up early so as to be one of the first on the course only to come to a back up on the back 9.
Not fair to let leagues go out on the back 9 & slow down the play so much. It was so slow I skipped the last two holes.
Happened to us too ! A projected 90 degree day and we booked a 7:10 am tee time to beat the heat. Made the turn and was going to have to wait for a league that was starting on the back nine . So we asked the starter if we could skip in front of them but he said he couldn't promise he could let us in rotation back at 10 when we got back. Se it was okay if we make the turn and have to wait for a league but it wouldn't be okay if someone else would have to wait for us...I guess ?

Never Changes
Every time I try to give this course a chance, it reminds me why I never play it. If you enjoy playing a 6 hour round of 18 holes then this course is for you. Constant waits on every shot, no ranger enforcement, just overall draining waiting 10 minutes on every shot. Which is a shame, considering how well kept the course is. If you have all day and no rush, I’d recommend it. If you want a 4 hour round of 18, definitely don’t play here. Prices are high compared to other area courses as well.

In spite of threat for severe thunderstorms, took a chance to play. Inbelievably, got all 18 in, playing in 3hrs, since Frey few others were playing. Course is in excellent shape!!

Awesome course !!! Would have been all 5 stars if not for pace of play
1st time at Brookledge. The course is maintained meticulously!!! Great sand in the bunkers, fairways were perfect and the rough was mowed but THICK. I saw pride in ownership on every hole and applaud the grounds crew and course management!!! Had a late morning tee time and we got off on schedule. The only negative part of the days was the waiting. 18 holes took 5 hours and 20 minutes. We were backed up 6 carts deep on the par 3s.
I will absolutely play there again. Great course and well maintained.

Best public course in Summit County
Brookledge is a true hidden gem of a golf course. It is challenging, it is always in great shape, pace of play is almost always excellent, & the staff (especially Eric, the pro) is incredibly friendly & welcoming. Worth every penny. One of my top 5 Northeast OH tracks.
