About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Great value
Very enjoyable course, nice layout and great shape.
Beautiful condition
Course was in beautiful condition. Greens were perfect. Pace of play was terrible. Left after 9 holes. Too many non golfers golfing from the wrong tee boxes. Not the courses fault. Fun layout.

good value course
conditions were good even this late in the season. A few 5-somes did slow pace down.

Great course, inconsistent slow greens
Pros:
*green fairways- keep them watered and not stressed
*Pace- great for walking, may be slow if using a cart
*Super- friendly staff from cashiers to the starter
Cons
* THE GREENS- very slow. Even they look good maybe it's because they were punched 3 weeks ago. Some were decent,
Others painfully slow and didn't hold the line
* Tee boxes- seriously need some help
Overall- well wort $30 or less. Optimal time to play is mornings. Hope you enjoy it!

Hidden gem
Some of the best most undulated greens in the area. The course offers changes of elevation, and varied shape of holes allows you to use every club in the bag.
Lied about condition
Greens had just been plugged and course was unplayable .. should have been closed .. worst plug job ever.. really disgraceful and pro shop lied about condition ..

Always a favorite
Brookledge is just a fun layout that always has good conditions. Not a bad hole out there. Had recently aerated but greens were already mostly back. When they are primed, they are as good as any greens in the area. Keep up the great work!

Slow greens
Recent aeration of greens made putting much worse than usual. No mention on GolfNow. In another week it will be better!!

Beautiful course
I was out early with the fog still high in the air. Easy play with some narrow fairways. Great time!

Forced to play with others during COVID
First, you cannot force a single player to play with other strangers during a pandemic. You are in violation of both the CDC and State Mandates, which they will find interesting, I’m sure.
Second, the fact you make zero accommodations for someone who drove 45 minutes to play is simple rude and unprofessional.

Would have rated higher but greens were aerated day before. Otherwise very nice layout in good condition.

Early tee time is the key. Only 2 foursomes in front of us . Course was in excellent shape with new paved cart paths . Greens were fast but true

Love this course. Always in great shape. Pace of play wasn’t awesome today, but usually is. I’m probably being nit picky...we still did get done with 18 in under 4 hours. We were a twosome and waited on a lot of holes because of that.

Pace
Always enjoyed this course. We had an early teetime, played the front in 1 1/2 hrs. When making the turn hackers as far as we could see. They must need the $$ to push off all of these golfers in front of everyone making the turn. Played the back in 2 3/4 hrs.
