About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Very nice course
Excellent condition, fun layout. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely play there again.
Always a favorite
Brookledge is just a fun layout that always has good conditions. Not a bad hole out there. Had recently aerated but greens were already mostly back. When they are primed, they are as good as any greens in the area. Keep up the great work!

Slow greens
Recent aeration of greens made putting much worse than usual. No mention on GolfNow. In another week it will be better!!

Beautiful course
I was out early with the fog still high in the air. Easy play with some narrow fairways. Great time!

Forced to play with others during COVID
First, you cannot force a single player to play with other strangers during a pandemic. You are in violation of both the CDC and State Mandates, which they will find interesting, I’m sure.
Second, the fact you make zero accommodations for someone who drove 45 minutes to play is simple rude and unprofessional.

Nice layout; nice price.
Would have rated higher but greens were aerated day before. Otherwise very nice layout in good condition.

Early tee time is the key. Only 2 foursomes in front of us . Course was in excellent shape with new paved cart paths . Greens were fast but true

Love this course. Always in great shape. Pace of play wasn’t awesome today, but usually is. I’m probably being nit picky...we still did get done with 18 in under 4 hours. We were a twosome and waited on a lot of holes because of that.

Pace
Always enjoyed this course. We had an early teetime, played the front in 1 1/2 hrs. When making the turn hackers as far as we could see. They must need the $$ to push off all of these golfers in front of everyone making the turn. Played the back in 2 3/4 hrs.

The course is always in great shape.
We booked the course last year, and finally got a tee time. It’s hard to get a tee time there because it’s so nice. We will see you again this year. We had 12 guys come down from Lake County and we all want to play there again this year. We played there once in June, and it is worth the drive down to play

Friendly Starter
I was playing solo and the starter originally had me paired with two other players. The pair told the starter they would not play with a random pairing (me) due to the pandemic. The starter acted calmly and swiftly, simply let me play solo ahead of them. He was friendly the entire time and kept his cool. He greeted me when I made the turn and helped me with the hole 10 location. Kudos to this guy as I do not come across many starters that are as friendly as this guy was. Will play here again.

One of the better courses in the area
This course if absolutely great. It's good for all range of abilities, generally in wonderful shape! But more than anything the staff is absolutely great; friendly and accommodating. I recommend it to anyone who asks for a good place to play

Wow just had the best time ever.
Played 18 with a gentlemen by the name Steve and we just had the bet time. Found a hurt cardinal and i was about to drive the ball and an owl flew off with the cardinal .

Very slow
This place is nice but always overbooked. This was the third time i've played and each time i have been very disappointed with the amount of time it took to get through a round. On Saturday, i teed off at 10:52 with my foursome to play 18, and did not finish until 4:45. There was also a group of six behind us that was rowdy and hit up on us on multiple occasions. The course was in decent shape, outside of the tee boxes.
