About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Wide open, but fairway is better
First time at this course. Course is in relatively good condition but some critical holes (like # 9) have roped off areas in the fairway. Biggest takeaway is that the course is pretty wide open, but the rough is quite penal for NE Ohio. Can be half+ a stroke in some areas, even just off the fairway or green. Greens are relatively easy and fair, but there are a few greens that are disproportionately undulating. Good track, would play again. Got it on a hot deal, so I cannot comment on price/value.

Amazing Shape
Course is country club shape without the prices. Pace of play is low sometimes but worth it.

Wonderful Friday Afternoon
This course for the cost is a must play for any level golfer. Difficulty is low and gives your average golfer a real chance to score. Very well taken care of, open concept and pace of play good. Very nice driving range. I will for sure be back soon with friends

Really nice course
This golf course is in really good shape. The greens are nearly perfect, considering the rain we’ve had. The staff is always extremely helpful and mindful of the fact that you could be anywhere spending your money to golf. Highly recommend this course if you’re looking for a new one to try!

Spring review
Course is in good shape this early in the season. I think clearing out trees around 2 and 3 was a great move.

Still too wet
This course plays tough enough without playing in mud and tall grass. Wait till it dries out. Was a beautiful day, so very busy. Took us 3 1/2 hours to play nine. I decided not to go ahead with 18..

Fun scoreable course
Pretty good public course I will play again. My caddy Tank did a great job. Staff was great especially the dog! Nice driving range with grass tees.

Great public course
Brookledge is a great course for the average golfer. It is challenging enough to be interesting but a not excellent golfer can score a bogey on most of its holes. They do have senior tees that take some of the distance requirement out of the initial drive.
The conditions were cold with a moist fairway due to recent rains (cart path only for carts). Fairways were in good shape, but the greens were outstanding for January play. A big "Well done" to the grounds crew.
We will certainly be back. You owe it to yourself to try Brookledge.

A great layout and conditioning
In my opinion by far this is one of the best public golf courses in NE Ohio for the money. A great layout by the famed architect Arthur Hills that is maintained by a very knowledgeable golf staff. The course is always in excellent condition and the greens are kept at a great pace and roll true. The staff here is very friendly and professional and playing here they make you feel like a member at a country club (been there and done that for years and this is a better value). Pace of play is usually pretty darn good for both walkers (like me) and people in carts (occasionally). The course is set in a valley that tree lined with very, very few houses and will test every club in your bag. Standing on the tees of every hole and viewing the layout of the holes and surrounding environment is wonderful tasting eye candy.
I repeat, great layout, conditioning and even more important a really great staff. One final note, Eric the teach pro in less than 30 minutes fixed my hybrid swing.
