Brookledge Golf Club
About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Great course but very busy for a Wednesday afternoon! 6 hrs to play 18 holes.
Amazing course in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. They do a pristine job on up keep and have a very friendly staff. The course has many challenging holes good elevation changes and hole locations. The greens are in perfect shape and are super fast. Brookledge requires smart play and many hole are surrounded by woods and out of bounds so choose your clubs wisely.
One of the best courses I have ever played
Course is immaculate and staff is super-friendly. Greens are true and property is simply pristine. For example, left and right sides of fairways are mowed in a way that you see a visual 'split' from the tee box - amazing! I have never seen so much attention to detail anywhere. Will definitely play here again!
best city course around
For being a city course, Brookledge is the best maintained course anywhere. The greens, fairways and tee boxes are always in great shape. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to running a golf course. The added bonus of a bucket of practice balls with the tee time was the icing on the cake. I play here often and will continue to do so.
5 1/2 hour round, not worth the time
Arrived at the second tee and there were already two groups waiting, another in the fairway, another on the green. Before we teed off I overheard the rangers talking on the walkies about the pace of play but of course they didn't do squat to rectify the situation. I would have quit after nine but I didn't want to be saddled with a rain check and have to return to this place. The course was decent enough, but as they say you don't get a second chance to make a first impression and I won't be going back. At least the cart girl was cute.
Nice layout, challenging and in excellent shape!!!
No problem getting a tee time, convenient location even coming from Cleveland, the course was in beautiful shape from the tees to the greens. Very fun course, challenging but also forgiving on a lot of holes, nice patio for the 19th hole also! Staff was very nice and does a good job spacing the tee times, no waiting on tee boxes like some other courses
A+++++++
Cant go wrong! A+++++++++++, Great staff, best practice facility, A+++++++++++++++++++
Tricky greens, large friendly fairways.
Course was in great shape for playing so early in the year.
Very good for April.
This course gets better as the year goes on. Greens are fast and challenging. Need to know where to place the ball on some greens. Variety of tee markers for every ability.
A very good public course.
Brookledge has the perfect combination of challemge amd playability. Playing this course regularly is bound to improve your game.
Well organized
Great course. Very well run by the staff like a well oiled machine. Although the course appeared to be busy, my threesome was able to play all 18 holes in four hours.
unreal
the course was great. the staff was less about us and more about going home. we were on the 16th hole it was 7:31 and we were told to hurry as they wanted to pull the flags. so we skipped 17 and tee'd off 18 as we started to take our 2nd shots he pulled the flag and left leaving us with nothing to shoot at but the green. I will never go back
Fun course
I recently booked a round at Brookledge when I had a couple hours to kill while traveling. It was a very fun course, and very busy for a weekday afternoon. What a fun course. The distance won't beat up short to average length players, but it doesn't take any clubs out of the hands of longer hitters. Lots of holes that may tempt big hitters to challenge the risks/ rewards of hitting a driver off the tee, but the shorter guys will not be at a disadvantage laying back from the big guys and playing their game. If you get a chance to play this course, I recommend you do so. Definitely book through Golfnow.com, the rates are a little steep at peak times but deeply discounted on golfnow.
Great course and great staff
Sometime a little slower play because of the leagues and age of players. play here 12-15 times a year and will always come back. The last 10 years it has gotten better each year. Greens are always tricky
Fairly straight forward course. No real surprises
Very well maintained. Excellent condition for this time of year.
Great course to play
I have played many courses this year and this one is one of the top courses in the area.
Great Course at Excellent Value
A supremely underrated course for the value. The conditions are always top-notch and the layout is very underrated (The view from #11 from the back tees is special). The weather was producing 30-40 mph gusts and a steady 20ish mph wind, so the course played very difficult. When you factor in the relatively cheap greens fees, Brookledge instantly becomes one of the best golf courses in Northeast Ohio.
Noyt Bad
Outside of playing during the dreaded aeration time of year course is in great shape. Black teas are the only challenging part of course. Some tees are 100 yards or more behind the white tees making pars much more difficult. Outside of the 9th and 18th whole there are not too many water hazards. Several pars 3's, maybe too many for my taste. Great friendly people and a range you can hit from to warm up. Not difficult slightly undulated greens. Course appears to have almost unbelievable irrigation since all other courses in the area are cart-path only and I seen no or nearly no signs of dampness on entire course.
The course has a great layout, is challenging, but fair
first time to play this course and honestly now in my top 10 courses. Beautiful surroundings, interesting layout, and a course you could score well on with good course management.
Great Municipal Course
For a municipally owned facility, this course was exceptional. We played it at the end of September, and the tees, fairways and greens were all in immaculate condition. I would definitely play it as much as I could.
This is owned by the city?
This course is one of the best in the area. Some challenging holes, but allows for scoring. The course is usually in great shape. The city, yes it's owned by the city, has put a lot of money into the course. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. Can't go wrong heading to Brookledge to golf.
