Brookledge Golf Club
About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Excellent Shape
Pace of play was a little slow, but still was a fun round. Somewhat long, but a fun and fairly open course. Greens and fairways were in excellent shape.
Gonna NEED some Gimmies........
Course is in good shape and a pretty darn good value. Although they don't look all that tough the greens are going to ADD plenty of strokes making your round very frustrating. So play will some folks that don't mind a 3 foot gimmie every now and then :) Yes, I agree that's ridiculous but you may just need a few to keep your round within reason. I had MANY birdie putts that turned into Bogies in a hurry.
Can't beat the value
Wonderful course! Great condition, challenging but fair, fantastic weather! You'll enjoy this track!
Greatest Value in NE Ohio
The course is in great shape and is it the best value in NE Ohio. Challenging but fair. The course staff is extremely friendly and attentive.
Great Local Gem
Course was in great condition and the pace of play was outstanding. Two of us played in three hours without rushing. This Arthur Hills design is fun, challenging and in great shape.
good course but pace is slowwwwww
good course but pace is slow. played on thursday late am. the pace is slow. never played on weekend and not planning to.
Brookledge
Fariways and Greens well taken care of! You can tell the money spent to play this course is put back into this course as overall its well taken care of!
well maintained course
Great overall course which is very well taken care of. Will be back to play soon
Good conditions, Friendly staff
Played 18 in May 2014. The overall experience was great. Good conditions, friendly staff, and good pace of play.
bang for your buck
Great fairways and challenging greens. For the price, it's a must play. Only thing I didn't like, there was no course map, neither on score card nor hole signage.
Great course layout
Brookledge has a great layout, not overly long or extremely difficult, but well maintained, the greens were in surprisingly good shape considering this past winter. I highly recommend this course.
Nice course
The course is a nice Arthur Hills layout. It was in good condition, especially given that it's the start of the season after a hard winter. For the current condition of the greens, they were a little too fast, and so imperfections in the greens (which are expected this time of year) were magnified. Also, some pin positions were unfair (e.g., on #13).
first round of the season
other than the good deal from golfnow.com, Our Tee times were 20 minute delay, the course itself started out pretty good, after the first hole it bottle necked and backed up. It took a friend and I 6-1/2 hrs to play an 18 hole round. i hope the rest of year isn't going to be like this.
Nice course
I live nearby and have played here before so I know its a well maintained course and a great value for the cost. easy course from the whites , a little more challenging from the tips
Consistently in good shape
I have played this course, owned by the city of Cuyahoga Falls a number of times and it is consistently in good shape. It is an Arthur Hills design which is always enjoyable and a challenge. It appears to get a lot of play from the locals but manages to stay well maintained. I played it in mid-November after all the out of bounds areas had been cut back and the fairways were still in good shape and the greens were in very good shape for the time of year.
Fall Friday afternoon
the fairways were in great shape. the greens had been aerated not too long ago! but not too bad!
GolfNow price was EXCELLENT! Love those deals!
give the starter more money
Might do a better job. back nine completely open but puts out four foursomes in front of twosomes might have asked another foursome to go off back needs a ranger
Always a great track
Brookledge is one of the nicest "muni" courses in NE Ohio. Always in great shape, moves well and a good challenge from the blue tees. Greens were recently areated but still held a good shot and putted ok given conditions. Fairways perfect, well-defined with an intermediate cut before the rough area. Also, naturalized areas with long grasses cut down for fall/winter season.
Aeration-Played back 9 twice with greens covered in sand
This is generally a very nice course in the area. Golf Now or the course didn't inform me of the aeration going on. We had to play the back 9 twice and the greens were absolutely covered in sand. I just don't like surprises when something like that isn't brought to my attention beforehand. It wasn't worth trying to go to another course in the amount of time that we had to play. The other parts of the course were in good shape though and the staff was very friendly. Paid a lot more than what the course warranted.
