About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Fun, beautiful and busy course
I’ve golfed here twice as a solo and was paired witt really great people both times. Carts are really nice and course is challenging but fun and staff is really friendly. With all of that expect there to be a lot of people there and pace is slow because of this.

Slow pace
Everything was really good as far as course goes but they over book the course a lot. There was several people scheduled at the same time. But this happens a lot at other courses too.
I think it's all the apps and website making reservations but they could limit which apps and sites can make reservations.

Slow play
Before I made the tee time, we called the course to inquire about the greens, because it’s that time of year. We were told that the greens had been punched 7-10 days before my call. I figured that two weeks should be enough time to heal considering the way that the way the course is cared for, but unfortunately the greens were terrible.

Good track
Great course if you can get out in the first 4/5 tee times. The only knock is they stack tee times every 8-10 mins.
Good layout and usually really good conditions. Worth the 45 min drive from Strongsville

Range balls very expensive
Their range is really overpriced, and I asked about the high price and basically got an "oh well" shrug for an answer.

Not a bad course
Clubhouse: gentleman at the register was really nice. The girl running concessions had a tad bit of an attitude.
Starter: kept things moving. No ranger on the course.
Carts: they have gps on them. 10th-11th hole the gps stops your cart even if you are on the cart path!
Par 3 tee boxes are beat up bad.
Greens on more holes than not are beat up. Ball marks that haven’t been taken care of all over this place.
Course is in good shape other than what was stated. I don’t think it should be over $50 to golf a round here.
Pace of play was slow. Almost 5 hrs to finish a round. Extreme bottle necks made for long waits.

Great value
Great hot deal price. Course was in good shape. Hard to find balls in the rough. Play was slow, we waited on every hole. We were a threesome and had a single in front of us and a couple foursomes in front of him. May have worked better to pair us up with the single guy but he never offered for us to join him.

If it wasn’t so slow
Loved the golf course and it’s maintained very well. Cart gps and so I think people just like it a lot and for the value it gets a lot of takers. Tee times maybe would need spread but it was a 5 hr round. Would recommend but make sure you have a foursome and nowhere urgent to be

Great track
So we started on 10 given the monsoon last night some ponding but overall good shape for the amount of rain, greens were true and in great shape overall a great round

Single in a threesome
A single should play late day or early am not teamed in a group of three. It’s all about the course making money!!! I mentioned to the started and moneyman cashier that I did not want a single in my group as I see my kids once a year and we golf. Both said sorry he’s a single. Knowing he could have teamed up ahead or behind us but the started and money man knew both groups so we were stuck with him. I told the starter there are several reasons one being he would split off on the back or at the turn and the starter said he wouldn’t . Well guess what he did he played through at the turn not telling anyone rushed to tee box and teed off before we could get to the tee box. He backed the whole side up by playing through each group. He got three holes ahead and then it was at a stand still. It was a wasted Monday of golf took 5 and 1/2 hours to play a course that should take max 4 1/2 hours!!! No fun at all.

Course is great people are great.
We play about 15 courses in the area and it holds it own against all of them.
Only problem they need to move carts closer to parking
Tough for seniors. But that is the case lots of places.
