About
Brookledge Golf Club sprawls across more than 120 acres of gently rolling hills and mature woodlands. The course is an Arthur Hills design and considered one of the finest public golf courses in northeast Ohio. Originally opened in 1988, the course later underwent a major renovation that included the installation of a new aeration system and the replacement of all the sand traps. The golf course is challenging with trees lining the fairways and framing the greens, leaving little room for error off the tees or on the approaches. The greens are subtly elevated and well protected by mounding and bunkers. Brookledge Golf Club's tricky putting surfaces have mild undulations that can cause subtle breaks in putts. Trees play a more prominent role on the back nine, especially on the closing holes.

Great track
So we started on 10 given the monsoon last night some ponding but overall good shape for the amount of rain, greens were true and in great shape overall a great round
Single in a threesome
A single should play late day or early am not teamed in a group of three. It’s all about the course making money!!! I mentioned to the started and moneyman cashier that I did not want a single in my group as I see my kids once a year and we golf. Both said sorry he’s a single. Knowing he could have teamed up ahead or behind us but the started and money man knew both groups so we were stuck with him. I told the starter there are several reasons one being he would split off on the back or at the turn and the starter said he wouldn’t . Well guess what he did he played through at the turn not telling anyone rushed to tee box and teed off before we could get to the tee box. He backed the whole side up by playing through each group. He got three holes ahead and then it was at a stand still. It was a wasted Monday of golf took 5 and 1/2 hours to play a course that should take max 4 1/2 hours!!! No fun at all.

Course is great people are great.
We play about 15 courses in the area and it holds it own against all of them.
Only problem they need to move carts closer to parking
Tough for seniors. But that is the case lots of places.

Wonderful course
This has been a favorite course of mine, but this day the course was in way better condition than expected. Every green was very receiving of any shot that you wanted to stop quickly. The fairways and rough were in perfect condition. Even the tees were well manicured and not chopped up up like so many other courses in the area. If you want a great experience on the golf course you can't go wrong here.

Fun course
First time playing Brookledge and will come back again. The layout of the course was enjoyable with some open areas, some wooded with tighter fairways, and a few twists and turns (doglegs). The greens were receptive and rolled true. The fairways were in good condition and as long as you hit your marks the course was scoreable.
I had only 2 slight negatives - the weather, which is not controllable, and the annoying messages on the GPS carts. My cart was shutting down while we were on the cart path. Made for a jerky ride occasionally.
Overall a good experience and the price on GolfPass was affordable.

Nice course, good people, well cared-for
It was a picture perfect day, the course was in great shape. I could not believe how quick the greens were rolling for a public course. They weren't dry or hard, just well maintained.
The only drawback, very minor, was the foursome in front of us were ball-hawking, slow-moving and didn't offer my twosome the opportunity to play through. We still played 18 holes in 4.5 hours but it does get frustrating waiting at the tee box while 2 guys waddle into the woods to look for a ball, then one ends up dropping and hitting, then they drive to the partner's ball to hit.
Bless them for being out there at their age, I hope to still be playing in 25 years and my partner and I agreed that we won't be "those" guys.

Course good , starter great
Course was in good shape, Starter was a great guy. Young Girl working the desk probably the rudest person ever met at a golf course. Paying fees and then buying drinks at turn she was incredibly rude both times. I’m not thin skinned but she was terrible. Otherwise love the course

Thursday
Played as a 4 some in just under 4 hours. The course was in fantastic shape. The greens rolled quick and true. The layout was fair to all, two played from the tips and two from the whites. I'm looking forward to my next round.
