About
Delaware Golf Club sprawls across rolling countryside that lends an idyllic and secluded setting. Donald Ross designed the original nine holes in 1922 and they were later joined by a second nine designed by Michael Hurzdan in 1998. The layout meanders through wooded valleys and ravines. The rolling fairways are fairly wide but they are lined with mature trees and bunkers heavily guard the small, undulating greens. There are also water hazards that come into play on a number of holes. Delaware Golf Club's second hole is notably challenging, it is arguably the toughest hole on the front nine. This par-4 requires not only accuracy in order to avoid the ravine on the left but also distance to carry the lake and remain in the angled fairway. Golfers will be faced with one of the most difficult putts on the golf course if their approach finds the wrong side of the green.

Good muni course.
This is a really well kept municipal course on the site of a former country club. The course was in good condition overall, pace was a little slow but the rangers actually did a good job of getting smaller groups through slow foursomes. The course has a challenging layout and a number of interesting holes. Only real complaint is they were out of range balls and the range is not great even if they did have some (hitting into water). Great outdoor patio/bar with fairly priced beer. Overall, worth the drive up from Columbus for a round.

Course in Great Shape - Staff Were Friendly
Played with several out-of-state friends this past Saturday as we wanted to play somewhere we knew would be in good condition. Course was in great shape. Greens rolled fast and true. Despite recent heavy rains, the course had drained well and fairways and tee boxes were well-trimmed. Could easily take a divot in fairways.
Have played at Delaware many times. Staff were very friendly today and accommodating which was nice - considering it had been different when I played before. Happy to enjoy some time with friends playing the game we love.

Boomer City
Great layout & pure greens.
Waiting 10+ mins in the pro shop for anyone to check us in. Range was closed because the employee that gets them from the pond didn’t show up.
Hit off the 1st at 10:14am.
Got back in our car at 3:20pm.
This track is home of the 5 hour round.

Legit golf course!
If you read other reviews about money, know that if people will pay a certain amount for a round of golf, the course will keep charging that much.
First time playing it, we started on the white tees, but after both of us had birdie putts, we decided to play from the tips for the rest of the round. Wow, what a tough course. There is so much undulation on nearly every fairway, your feet are above or below the ball constantly. The rough is brutal, at least a club and half up if you are even in the first cut (lost 3 balls that just leaked off the fairway). I am a 16 HC and ended up shooting a 98, not bad for not knowing the course. The back 9 is 1000 times harder than the front, and it plays like two diffrent courses, which makes sense as it started as a nine hole course.
If you have not played here, it is well worth it, the staff is amazing, fairways pristine, and greens roll nice.

Pace of play
You would think that a $70 golf course would ensure appropriate pace of play. 5 hour and 20min round. In my book, that’s the worst thing to mismanage as a golf course. Great course layout though

Great track in Columbus
Highly recommend! Very fairly priced. Nice carts. Great greens. Challenging but rewarding course. Will be back

Too Much for Course
I love the layout of this place but the price is too high before 1:00pm. This is not a $75 golf course during peak hours - I'd say $55 is more justified.

Quality course and staff
Went out for the first time with a friend on a rainy day. Staff was helpful and friendly, the club house was clean and looked well kept. Despite the rain, the course played nicely. It was fairly forgiving out of the tee box, but could be quite challenging around the greens. Pace of play was outstanding.
