If you’re looking for the best of both new and old designed course layout then this is a must visit in the greater Columbus area. The front is an absolute immaculately manicured modern design that plays through a wooded residential area that still allows the feeling of never being crowded by the homes that border the course. The bent grass fairways and greens are as good as you’ll find in the area and the bunkers are the best maintained for any public course you’ll find. At the turn, the open air patio gives you quick and easy access to food, beverage, and anything you may require for your round. The back nine is a completely different animal with classic Donald Ross greens that await you at the end of each well cared fairway that rolls along the natural terrain and challenge you with every kind of lie possible. The staff is friendly and courteously attentive to give you the best experience possible.

We didn’t know that a outing was happening and were being pushed to finish by a certain time. I barely played because I felt bad for golfers behind my wife and I waiting. It wasn’t fun because of a timing constraint. If they have a outing then block off those times. This was frustrating.

Greens, fairways, layout were all great. COVID-19 has messed with the traps( no rakes) but still one of the best around!

What a fun course. Teed off at 7am in thick fog. Couldn’t see the 1st fairway, let alone the shape of the hole. Didn’t matter. What a fun course. 1st 9 weaves between houses and has a modern style. Back 9 is basically the old Donald Ross—some great holes, especially 11. Elevation changes, mix of wide and narrow fairways. Greens were fine. I can’t imagine there’s a better 18 hole value in the Columbus area.

It’s been a while since I’ve played this course, and it was a little confusing at times since there was no cart path to follow. But made it through. The course is in great great shape, and I would play it again.

staff is nice and helpful, the other golfers show overall good etiquette and really is a great play to get a round in. The course has some challenging holes, but overall is set up more for just enjoying the course and the game. The only weird thing to me is that the driving range uses aqua balls that float because you hit into a large pond on purpose which in a way I guess gets all your hitting over water jitters out. If I can gind a tee time here, more times than not I will take it

Great course design with well maintained fairways & bunkers. Greens rolled well but there were an insane amount of unfixed divots. Sometimes it was like putting through a minefield. I had to move my ball numerous times to avoid putting through ball marks. Overall though, I would recommend the course to anyone. My only other criticism is there is too much of a differential between the white & blue tees (over 700 yards). The course only plays 5712 from the whites while it plays 6434 from the blues. Two holes alone have over a 100 yard difference between tee boxes. My recommendation for a mid handicapper would be to play all par 4's over 400 yards from the whites & the rest of the course from the blues (just a suggestion since it would make posting a score for handicap inaccurate) One other compliment is the courses outside patio. They have a very large spread out sheltered seating area, an outdoor food & beverage station and outside check in to comply with COVID-19 guidelines.

Joined as a member this year. Played about 20 rounds.

GOOD: Course layout & water range are unique and usually hit every club in the bag. Dogs & brats at the turn are great!

BAD: No cart girl,, no ranger, no starter. Sometimes you tee off a few minutes early, but usually 10-15 mins late. On the weekend, if you tee off in the AM this is the home of the 5 hour plus round. Today’s nine holes took 2:45, wait on literally every shot. Fastest full round was 4.5 hours. Slow gas carts, $10 extra to social distance. Cart paths are like off roading in many spots.

UGLY: As a non member you can make a teetime through various apps or the website. As a member, neither option is available. You have to call and reserve a time then just show up & hope. Website was supposed to be ready in January. No update. If you have to take 23N to the course, double your estimated drive time. You’ll average at best 35-40 mph.

I've been trying to play courses I haven't played locally and chose this one recently, and I was not disappointed. The greens could have been a bit faster , but the holes were well-placed, allowing you to try to get close while still giving you an "out" if necessary. From the back tees ( blue or black)I had the opportunity to play every club in the bag. A nice change. A good choice for something different.
