About
Delaware Golf Club sprawls across rolling countryside that lends an idyllic and secluded setting. Donald Ross designed the original nine holes in 1922 and they were later joined by a second nine designed by Michael Hurzdan in 1998. The layout meanders through wooded valleys and ravines. The rolling fairways are fairly wide but they are lined with mature trees and bunkers heavily guard the small, undulating greens. There are also water hazards that come into play on a number of holes. Delaware Golf Club's second hole is notably challenging, it is arguably the toughest hole on the front nine. This par-4 requires not only accuracy in order to avoid the ravine on the left but also distance to carry the lake and remain in the angled fairway. Golfers will be faced with one of the most difficult putts on the golf course if their approach finds the wrong side of the green.

Not what I expected... in a good way
I've only ever seen this course from US 23 - so I was skeptical at what it would actually look like but I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. It's not long but it is tight - you need to hit your drives straight or you'll be in a backyard or in some thick woods. Greens were in good shape but ran slow. Couldn't use the Clubhouse due to CV-19 but precautions were in place to keep us safe.

Fun course in good shape
The original 9 holes designed by Donald Ross were outstanding. The whole course was fun to play. All 18 greens were in superb conditions. Would highly recommend to anyone

Nice Course... Good Dogs
Enjoyed this course and the variability of holes. Would recommend to play given location. Great Jalepeno dogs on the turn.

Solid track
All decent courses r busy right now so u have to take into account, the pace was slow but not dreadful and the pace did pick up pick up eventually. Greens r ok and overall happy w this course. Just a little far for me...

Great fun course when not over watered
Their rates went up so I have not played here for while so when I saw a discount rate on golfnow that I can use coupon code for, I decided to check it out. Course has fun layout and can play difficult when tee shots don't find the fairways. I played around 2PM in the afternoon and for whatever reason, there was long back up and course played slow. Had to wait around every hole starting hole number 3. It was very hot day so I understand the need to water but at 2PM? It made the course soggy and greens were really slow due to watering. I come here to play because of their fast and undulating greens and it definitely wasn't that. It was still good round and I recommend others to play it.

Excellent Condition, POOR pace of play
Course was in great condition, but pace of play was terrible. Round took 5 1/2 hours to play. Starter was sending groups out as they showed up. No organization and rangers did nothing to speed up play.

Great shape
Play many public courses in the northern Columbus area and this one is by far in the best shape of the closest 5 courses. Donald Ross designed 9/18 holes and the whole courses layouts and greens are great. Highly recommend playing here if you plan to play in the near future as courses conditions can change.

Great course but SLOW!
The course is always in great shape but unfortunately, that is often ruined by the pace of play. The last 2 rounds I've played have taken over 5 hours. For a 4 o'clock Sunday tee time, we didn't tee off on #1 until 430. No starter or ranger to be found.
Feels like 2 separate golf courses
The original 9 holes of this course is an older Donald Ross design that makes up the back 9. The front 9 of this course feels more modern and similar to most private clubs I’ve played. The course is challenging and fun but the off course amenities are lacking. They have a bar and a few food items available but nothing to write home about.
