Delaware Golf Club
About
Delaware Golf Club sprawls across rolling countryside that lends an idyllic and secluded setting. Donald Ross designed the original nine holes in 1922 and they were later joined by a second nine designed by Michael Hurzdan in 1998. The layout meanders through wooded valleys and ravines. The rolling fairways are fairly wide but they are lined with mature trees and bunkers heavily guard the small, undulating greens. There are also water hazards that come into play on a number of holes. Delaware Golf Club's second hole is notably challenging, it is arguably the toughest hole on the front nine. This par-4 requires not only accuracy in order to avoid the ravine on the left but also distance to carry the lake and remain in the angled fairway. Golfers will be faced with one of the most difficult putts on the golf course if their approach finds the wrong side of the green.

Good Bang for your Buck!
For those golfers that have not played Delaware Golf Club in years, now might be a good time to tee it up. I rate courses based on Bang for your Buck and Delaware offers Good Value!
The course was in good condition, greens were excellent - rolled true and held shots. Played from the tips and enjoyed the layout. Good design blend of old and new (Donald Ross/Hurdzan). Country club experience without the membership dues. I will be teeing it up here again!
Great shape even after rain.
Played this course after it rained all night and it drained well. Greens and fairways were in good shape.
Awesome track!
I would recommend to anyone! Great greens and fairways. One of my 10 favorite in Central OH. Course gives you highs and lows! A must play!
Great course!
This is a course I will be playing again. Course was in great shape, and the greens were some of the best kept in the area. I truly enjoyed playing this golf course. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great round of golf. It plays shorter than some courses, but the larger greens put an emphasis on precise wedge and short iron play. Friendly staff, and beautiful club house.
Greens in great shape!
Overall course is in very good shape. Greens are quick and smooth.
Nice greens...if you can get to them.
This course is set up like a PGA tour course, minus the distance. It's about 6900 from the tips, so it's about 300-500 yards shy of that. However, the fairways are very undulating. You rarely have a flat lie. The bunkers are painfully deep. Try not to hit a bunker. Not even a green side one. There are enough doglegs and benders to keep the shot shapers happy. The fairways play very firm too. A good drive could earn 20-30 yards of roll.
The one negative about this course is the groundskeepers. About 50% of my round involved hearing yet another mower or weed-wacker. Some were good about turning their equipment off while I played, yet others seem to not care at all. Granted, I only paid $20 to ride this course with Golf Now, but the standard rate is over $40. If I paid that, I'd be a little upset.
Great track, greens were in great shape but a little slower than usual.

Super Fun! WIll Go Again!
Super nice course! Play can be challenging. I had a very good time. Floating range balls and fine clubhouse makes for a rich feel. Winding course with hills and unique holes make for a great day of golf.
Big difference in the two sides - both enjoyable, but one side clearly an old Ross design and the other a newer modern design.

Condition was very good for this time of year with the greens not quite fully healed from aeration. The greens speed up considerably as they heal and dry out. This is a very fun place to play that is very affordable and very convenient.
Fun course, 2 different nines, friendly staff, can't beat it for $30 to ride.

was not in great condition, greensad been greens were very sandy and slow.
course would be in better condition in a couple of weeks.
Course was fine except that they were in process of aerating the greens. Should be good in mid-May.
Two distinct 9's, both are interesting. Difficult course to find but worth it once you find it. Not much for amenities.
Nice, but overpriced !
Overall a very good course but couldn't play without a discount, too expensive.
Great course in pristine condition
Challenging course with 4 tees to choose from. Fast greens with multiple tiers. The front 9 is easier than the back nine; the back 9 follows a couple deep ravines that can quickly add some strokes to your score. The course is in great shape and the greens are fast.
I love the layout. Greens equivalent with private clubs.

It was very challenging course to play
Seems that management has a good plan to maintain and improve
the course.
I was very impressed with the speed and condition of the greens. Very nice for a public course.
I will definitely return as well as tell me buddies.
Very nice course!!!!
The Delaware Golf Club is a very challenging golf course spread out thru housing complex that don't really come into play. All bent grass. The greens roller true and are very fast. Very nice clubhouse friendly staff. The food is a bit pricey hot dog 3.75 lol.
Greens were immaculate and rolled true.
This course was beautiful. Although it was a little wet when we played the greens were still quick enough to be challenging. There are a number of tight tee boxes which was difficult.
