About
Delaware Golf Club sprawls across rolling countryside that lends an idyllic and secluded setting. Donald Ross designed the original nine holes in 1922 and they were later joined by a second nine designed by Michael Hurzdan in 1998. The layout meanders through wooded valleys and ravines. The rolling fairways are fairly wide but they are lined with mature trees and bunkers heavily guard the small, undulating greens. There are also water hazards that come into play on a number of holes. Delaware Golf Club's second hole is notably challenging, it is arguably the toughest hole on the front nine. This par-4 requires not only accuracy in order to avoid the ravine on the left but also distance to carry the lake and remain in the angled fairway. Golfers will be faced with one of the most difficult putts on the golf course if their approach finds the wrong side of the green.

Drought golf - course didn't show it
Have played a few times in the recent years so wasn't sure if the long season drought would make this course.a bad decision.....It was not showing any weather effects, it fact probably better shape than when I played it last 2 years ago.
The worst part was the drive up RT 23, but otherwise, will play again.
Delaware is in great shape
The only issue I had with Delaware GC has to do with hole 11 a par 4 dog left. The hole is not marked real well and at the conclusion of the hole directions? There are none. You are kind of left to your own figuring out how to get to hole 12. We figured it out and the cart path is no help because there is none. Other than this one hole all is good.
Brookside was busy
We drive past this gem frequently but needed a spot to play. What a delight. Nice clubhouse with big patio. Starter was great ,told us the pace would be 4.5 hours and he was close. Outings behind us that never caught up. We will go back.
Excellent condition
For the lack of rain this summer the grass was in excellent shape 👌
DGC is always a good track

Sunday golf with family
I loved the layout and the Blue/White tee combination. The tee combination allows senior golfers to play specified holes from a different set of teeing positions . I thought it was a novel approach for senior golfers that aren't ready to play senior tees but don't possess the distance for long par 3 and 4 holes. The course was in good shape except for countless fairway divots and ballmarks on the greens. I understand that those are the players responsibility and may be that gentle reminders throughout the course would be beneficial. Other than that we had a great time!

Location
Located right along rt23, I’ve driven by for years and finally had a chance to play. The entry off 23 and pass the original clubhouse (now maintenance) and up the hill. The clubhouse is great, carts are really nice, putting green and driving range all really nice. The front 9 plays almost like a different course to the back nine. Very well maintained course and I will continue playing here and taking guests

Nice Track
Course was in great shape. Front 9 had an excellent challenging layout, back nine (older original section) had some odd holes, which made certain shots difficult when not knowing the course. Greens were true and fast. I would recommend and will play again when in the Columbus area.
