About
Delaware Golf Club sprawls across rolling countryside that lends an idyllic and secluded setting. Donald Ross designed the original nine holes in 1922 and they were later joined by a second nine designed by Michael Hurzdan in 1998. The layout meanders through wooded valleys and ravines. The rolling fairways are fairly wide but they are lined with mature trees and bunkers heavily guard the small, undulating greens. There are also water hazards that come into play on a number of holes. Delaware Golf Club's second hole is notably challenging, it is arguably the toughest hole on the front nine. This par-4 requires not only accuracy in order to avoid the ravine on the left but also distance to carry the lake and remain in the angled fairway. Golfers will be faced with one of the most difficult putts on the golf course if their approach finds the wrong side of the green.

Fun round of golf
Had a great time playing this course. Greens had had recently been aerated but that is to be expected in early spring. They were slower but true. Challenging and scenic layout. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!
Good Value for Off Season
Course was in fine shape especially for playing it in the off season. Biggest issue is that everything else is old and in need of TLC. The road in has potholes and the cart paths are in terrible condition (where there are cart paths). For a course that costs upwards of $70 normally I expect better.
Course itself has some very unique holes and is much more hilly than a lot of other Columbus area courses

nice course--hilly & tight on back nine!
we've played DCC many times and enjoy it's ease of use, friendly patio staff and value pricing. Only played 9 and this time played the back, which we enjoyed more than the front as it's not winding through the housing, it's more woodsy--as well as challenging w/ hills and narrow fairways. only lament about course conditions is that the leaves were falling and we lost several fairway balls as a result (I swear they were in the fairway!)

Decline in conditions
It seems like a poorly managed club that succeeds in spite of itself due to limited course options in the area. The course conditions have declined significantly over the past 2 months with green disease, no sand on tee boxes or on carts. Areas roped off “under repair” have not been addressed for the 3 years I have played there .

Pace of play was one of the best I've experienced this summer. Course was in good shape. Starter and pro shop clerk very nice. Not worth the $75 rate for 18 holes. Nice layout and challenging holes. I would recommend this course to others.
