Glenross Golf Course
About
Glenross Golf Club seamlessly blends elements of traditional design with more modern features. Formerly known as Tanglewood Golf Course, five new holes were added in an extensive renovation. The original 13 holes were also redesigned from tee to green. The mature oak trees were carefully maintained though and still come into play along the fairways in addition to the hundreds of trees that were added. The gentle hills provide rolling fairways and undulating greens that demand accuracy. There are seven ponds and a meandering creek that come into play throughout as well as some 50 sand traps strategically placed along the greensides. Glenross Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 14th, which requires a carry over water to a small green but the most difficult hole comes earlier. The par-4 fifth has towering trees to the left, bunkers to the right, and a creek crossing the fairway.

Great Choice!!
Was only able to play one course while in Columbus...so I researched and researched...made a great decision!!! This course was perfect for our game and level of experience. It was challenging enough yet I felt like I managed some holes rather well. The only downfall was the wind (Nothing to do with the course) It was meticulously maintained. Greens were fast and it was just an overall great day of golf!!
Good Value
Paid $21, so it was a good value. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. The rough was up a bit and the course was wet.
A decent challenge but there are only two par 5's so par is 70.
The Weds. morning league in front of us was ridiculously slow. No players assistants to keep play moving.
Pretty short from the blue tees but I will go back at this price.
Great course this early
For having weathered tons of rain, this course is in great condition. Only thing I see that needs attention, is markings on every part 3 tee box.
Nice Course
This is a nice course with a couple of very challenging holes. Overall the course was in very good shape. Will defenately play again next time I'm in town.
Glenross 4/26/14
good shape for April, windy day from the blue tees is a challange for 18 handicaper. Some of the bunkers were wet and less than ideal cond. Pins were fair but tricky because greens have slope.
Not bad at all
Great pace of play for Easter morning. Although we were held up by the frost prior to teeing off once we got started it was nonstop. Never had to wait to hit.
Good Bang for the Buck
Early season golf always an unknown between the weather and course conditions. Greens in surprisingly good condition and the rough has not had a chance to grow so I got a break on many tee shots. The staff was outstanding as always. Freindly, courteous, and professional.
Greens make the course challenging
Course terrain is relatively flat with ample number of bunkers, average number of trees and not a lot of water. On the day I played the course was wet so it was CPO, which slowed down the pace of play. The greens have a lot of character and add a good degree of difficulty to an otherwise moderately difficult layout. Overall, Glenross was a pleasure to play on a chilly winter day. I plan to return in the spring and play the course when conditions are better. By the way, I would imagine the course conditions would be "pristine" in season.
Shooter's Course
This is a really nice, well-kept course. It's challenging greens are off-set by it's low yardage. Many of the Par 4's are between 300 and 350 yards, which makes getting to the green in regulation very reasonable. I would recommend this course.
Very friendly staff made one feel welcome and the course and carts were excellent
Would recommend this course based on the courteous staff, spacious fairways and convenient location
Fun course
I really enjoyed the layout of this course. I do not recommend walking as there is a substantial distance between some of the tee's. The fairways were in great shape, rough was thick, and greens were fast. For the most part the greens were smooth but had a few bumps here and there. Sandtraps were maintained and although wet when we played, very predictable and easy to get out of. I feel this course has the perfect level of difficulty. There are fairway bunkers and obstacles all over. You cant just grip and rip but if you choose the right club off the tee you should have no problems.
Great course and great value
Finally made the drive up from Columbus to check this course out. Was very surprised a the excellent course design and condition for $22 it was great deal. Pace of play was slow but the windy condition contributed to the slow play.
Course in good shape and the greens were even better

Too many houses
I don't like this course. It has some very nice qualities, bent grass tee to green, greens are fast and in great shape, and it s not terribly long but there is enough trouble to keep you honest, however, nearly the entire course is in someone s backyard. If you enjoy playing golf on a well kept course in the middle of several housing developments than look no further, personally I prefer trees or countryside over suburban sprawl.
Great course for the money!
Glenross is always fun, not a very long course but provides some challenging holes. This is not a driver and wedge course on every hole. You have options off the tee on most holes offering some risk/reward opportunities. The staff is always friendly and the course is in great condition. Greens are rolling true. Bunkers could use a some attention as they have some hard spots and it's like hitting off of concrete. Good course and if you can find some online deals, go for it!!
Interesting course through development
I really enjoy this course. I like the back 9 the best where you play through a new housing development. Nice fairways.
Excellent greens.
Great value for the day we played. Course was in outstanding shape and pace of play was outstanding. Fairways had been aerated, but still gave a fair roll out. I have not played this course in35 years and was very impressed with the improvements they have made.
Worst greens in Ohio, PERIOD!
There must be a 10,000 golfers with broken backs because the greens were so riddled with ball marks, its a shame to even call them greens.
would play again
Decent course from Blue tees. greens had been aerated recently but were mostly grown in.
