Good course for beginners
Took my girlfriend to play here as we both haven’t been out yet this year. Played the front 9 and it was a nice easy afternoon of golf. Course was kept up with nicely and the staff were personable
Short and flat
Course is usually in good shape and has some of the best greens around. But it's a short course and a its flat. Kind of boring and not much of a challenge outside of a few water holes. Course is very popular though. Has a ton of leagues and a lot of senior play and women play. Gets very crowded and pace of play is usually pretty slow. I think they are also a lil overpriced. But they do have a range and 2 putting areas. Also have a nice bar/restaurant with patio. Live entertainment out there on some fridays. So it has some pros. But it's just not one of the standout courses as far as design and layout.
Locals Treat Course Like a Public Park
On four separate occasions throughout my round there were people just walking across the middle of the course. Most of the time they were being loud and intentionally obnoxious. Why in the eff is this allowed by course management?
Additionally, NO ONE who plays here fixes their ball marks on the greens.
Good Course Poor pace
Overall the course and the greens were in good condition but the pace of play was horrible. I had to wait on every tee shot and every apptiach shot; I ended up hitting 20-50 yard wedge shots back and forth on the tee boxes and fairways as I waited to play so i didnt get bored and tight. They have a driving range with grass and mats as well as two putting and chipping greens for warm up and practice. The clubhouse also has good food and drinks!
Great Course for the $$$
I’ve never had a bad experience when playing this course. I enjoy playing the course and typically plays fast unless there are tournaments going on.
Beginner friendly course
Love the course, has a few challenges. Overall greens and fairways are in great shape
Short and flat with great greens
Course is a lil boring. Short. Flat. Good for walking I guess. Only one or two holes present a real challenge. Greens are bunkered but they aren't kept up. But the greens are always in great shape. No matter what time of year. Has a nice restaurant also. Has a driving range even though it's in rough shape. Has two chip and putt areas also. It's a popular course with the locals so it gets really slow and backed up.
No way to run a golf course
Had a 12:30 time, showed up early and the man at the desk says to go right out because they were having a large group of kids playing "foot golf'. We played 7 holes with no one ahead of us got to #8 and there are 4 groups on the tee. The man at the desk sent them out to get ahead of the foot golfers but right ahead of us, we skipped 6 and 9 figuring we would be ahead only to find he had now sent groups off the back ahead of us. Went back to the front and ran into the foot golfers who were still out there. Will never go back.
