High Point Golf Club

High Point is a really great value for the $30 it cost to play here. Although the course is not in pristine shape, it is certainly good enough to play a normal round of golf. I really like the track here and there is a nice mix of challenging holes and ones that aren't too bad.

The one negative was the pace of play. When we arrived, we were delayed about an hour and then had to wait on most holes when teeing off. I'm not sure exactly what went wrong, but it needs to be fixed. Perhaps it's too cheap and they overbooked the course?

This course has a lot of water and tight fairways, so you may lose some balls. Greens were fast and for the most part rolled true, but the tee boxes were a bit hard and in need of some water and seeding. Fairways seemed fine. Lot's of blind shots, but what was on the other side of them wasn't as ominous as one would think.

Opening hole is great. Unless you can carry the water on your second shot, you may have to lay up closer to the bridge.

Staff was friendly. Ride back on Sunday afternoon down 206 and 15 was slow due to a lot of traffic from people leaving from the lakes.

This course takes some familiarity before being able to put together a good score but I would definitely play it again.

Decent course decent layout pace of play was too slow and course was to far to get to, overall condition was fair.

Got to the course with 10 minutes before my tee time, went into the small rinky dink clubhouse (which smelled terribly) to find a teenage girl who checked me in real quick and didn't really give me any direction on what to do, finally I found a guy walking around with jeans and a t shirt who was the starter I guess. Had to wait for a cart to come in from 18 to load up.

The course is...okay. Not even close to Crystal Spring courses or even Morris County courses. Tee boxes are a mess and the greens were a little roughed up, fairways were kinda burnt. The course had some seriously odd doglegs to make them seem longer than they were.

The pace of play was god awful, even though I was playing well we turned around 3 hours and I just called it quits and walked off the course. I probably wouldn't be back.

THE COURSE WAS IN GOOD CONDITION, AND THE LAY OUT WAS GREAT. A MUST PLAY FOR THE MONEY.

Played here long time ago! Now that they are open again, played it twice in one week! From the tips it is challenging! There are a lots of water, so bring a lots of balls! Tee boxes are in need of work, and I can see that they are working on it! Greens are in great conditions! Wish ppl would fix their ball marks! Price you can't beat! $30 weekday, $45 weekends, and through golf now, u can find great deals! I would come back again to this course!

First time I played here. Greens are in great shape but the rest of the course needs work. Pace of play needs to improve as ther was a foursome and two twosomes in front of us. Starter should have paired the twosomes. Not sure if I'll be back unless there are no other options but course does offer good value.

Booked the tee time on-line without any prior personal knowledge of the course. Wanted to play somewhere new and different. The price looked right. Posted reviews were positive. The course is in good shape. Tee boxes were average. Fairways were well groomed. Greens are fast and uniform. Play was slow, but the weather was great so I cannot complain. Club choice is important because of the many dog legs. Overall a very good experience. Will play here again.

Played this course for the first time and was pleasantly surprised.
Greens were in excellent condition and the rest of the course is in very good condition. The layout is somewhat challenging but fair with enough water and doglegs to keep it interesting. Some minor elevation changes, but mostly on the flat side so relatively few downhill/side-hill lies. Definitely not target golf as you can pull your driver out on most holes and don't have to worry about blind shots. A bit out of the way, but definitely worth the drive as the rates are very reasonable for the golf experience received.

The first hole is kind of weird and the course is out of the way, but the course has some extremely pretty and tough holes.

Challenging course. Usually very quite. Good value for $. Nice staff. Course is a lil rough. I go here frequently.
