Hemlock Springs Golf Club

Hemlock Springs may be one of the best values anywhere. The course is laid out very well and the tee boxes match up well with a golfers ability. The white tees especially add lots of extra roll to tee shots for golfers using the white tees.

The course stays in great condition and course workers are diligent in keeping the course in great shape.

The professional staff couldn't be friendlier and do a great job during Covid-19. But, it is family owned and operated and everyone there wants golfers to enjoy the course and come back. And as a frequent player there I do see golfers returning after their first enjoyable round.

If you haven't played Hemlock Springs you don't know what you are missing!

Course is in very good shape for the drought conditions of the summer. Staff & management are friendly, obligating and thankful for everyone that comes to golf ... and expresses it. They have the best hot dogs east of the Mississippi.

Enjoyed the course, it was in very nice condition and a bit more affordable than many places nearby. The starter talked to us a bit before the round, explaining the course and talking about his favorite holes.

I only wish I could have played better.

Where can I start?

Everytime I come to this course I hope for change.. maybe the pace of play would improve or they could control their golfers but no. Whenever I play here I get stuck behind 2-3 groups of 4-5 seniors who do not let you play through no matter how slow they play. They do not care and that’s 100% the golf courses job to stop that. No other course has that problem.

I had to ask for a rain check since my mother was in the emergency room. It’s a Monday morning and my god it’s an emergency, I can’t get a dang rain check for the last 9 holes? Any other course will give me a rain check especially for the emergency I had. I am out money which just boggles my mind that’s how I’m treated. I don’t know why I try to keep going to Hemlock. They suck and I’m over it. Keep treating this seniors like kings and keep treating other people like trash. That’s how you keep your business. I’ll take my

Money to Erie Shores or Maple ridge or you know what, even make my own course before I go back. I’m disappointed.

Course is great value for what you get. Fairways are lush, greens are soft and roll true. Pretty open layout which makes opportunities to score often. Back nine gets a little tighter with some quirky holes (#17 keep driver in bag). Also some sneaky water laid throughout so be aware of that. Overall solid track!

The course was in great shape and the staff was wonderful! Can’t wait to play there again. I brought out my 5 year old so. And the staff was amazing

Staff was friendly and food is good. Course was nice but I wish they were not cutting grass on hole one and ten at 12 on a Sat. Also the pin placements were ridiculous.

This is the 4th time I've played Hemlock Springs in the past 2 months,. The staff has always been great and the course has a nice layout and has always been in good condition. I noticed that the conditions have gone south some since a month ago...maybe because of the drier weather we've had, but I has a few shots today from the fairway or just off the fairway with my ball sitting on bare spots where there should definitely be grass. Once they get the conditions up again, it's a fabulous course

this is a nice track off the beaten path. Its long and challenging. It was in rough shape in spots, but thats because 9f the weather this year, not the courses fault.

We played on a weekday morning so pace of play wasn’t an issue. Things moved well. Course layout is well considered, gently challenging but not intimidating. Staff were friendly and helpful. I hope to get bsck there soon!

Hard to believe this golf course along with Madison CC and Chardon Lakes have discontinued the single golfer per cart w/o at least having barriers in their carts. These golf courses have a civic duty to protect their customers!!! If not they are going to lose alot of customers.

Course conditions are great and staff is excellent. Covid-19 cases are still increasing so please don't stop allowing one golfer per cart unless you first place separators in each cart like many other courses have. If not you will certainly lose lots of business...for sure mine and my golfing buddies.
