Jamaica Run Golf Club offers one of the most challenging layouts in the Miami Valley. The difficult greens provide most of the trouble. They are small and hard to hit and on many holes they are elevated above the fairway, making it hard to play a run-up shot. The bentgrass fairways are spacious and thankfully more forgiving, but they are bordered by thick rough. Water hazards come into play on several holes. There is even one hole that crosses the meandering creek that runs through the golf course twice. The par-5 18th provides a memorable finish, requiring a tee shot past a large pond to a fairway that sits well below the pond. Finding the right club to use and a good spot to hit are nearly impossible.

Not worth the price.
Not very happy with playing golf off of the back 9. I have played hear several times over the past years. Wasn't very happy last year and the year before. I probably won't be back.

Don't play it.
Took about 5 hours to play plus being behind 25 minutes. Tee boxes were so shaggy it was tough to tee it up. Golf carts were in the worst condition I've seen any carts in. Just not a good experience. It's a shame because I like the layout and the land, but 5+ hours with the conditions were enough to make me say I'm never playing there again.

If its your closest option, go for it, but don't go out of your way to play.
Good round of golf
The course is good but greens need some help. Tee boxes can also use some work. The owner yelled as we drove the cart off the path but it was muddy and if you parked any where else you would be covered in mud.

Disappointing
Paid $28 on Tee Off, then got to the course and found out everyone else paid $15. That’s about what it was worth. Fairways and tees were in bad shape. Thanks Tee Off.

Great round
The cart paths were a bit torn up and the carts themselves were pretty much need of maintenance or replacement.

Golf, Great Value for money
First time I shout my age and had an Eagle. Never played as well as I had. I was surprised how the Greens were filling in with them being air rated recently. Great course for Seniors 5100-5475 yards.
Carts are old and need to be replaced.

Course was in terrible condition. Pace of play was bad. Greens are a mess on some holes. At least inform potential golfers about the conditions before they play. Wrong on so many levels.

Still a good course, but the heat wave has unfortunately hurt the course conditions. Staff is quite friendly and the pace was pretty average at 4:30 to finish a round. The biggest complaint t today is that the sprinklers turned on right as we were preparing to tee off on a couple of holes. Kinda hard to hit through the water! But all in all, it was good enough that I will be back.

The course is in a little rough shape.
A lot of the tee boxes have been moved off the platform to the side. A lot of bare spots in the fairways. Other than that it was good.

Cheap, quick pay on an outdated course
The fairways are pitted, patchy, and have bare spots all over them. The sand traps haven't maintained, And you hit your tee shots from the weeds next to the tee boxes. No pro shop. Course layout is decent. Wide open in most spots. Shoot the gap through the trees in the other spots. The creeks dividing the fairways are almost exactly where my entire group could drive the ball. Definitely fell for trap of those a couple times. For a cheap round of quick golf this is a decent course, but don't expect country club level course maintenance.
