About
Jamaica Run Golf Club offers one of the most challenging layouts in the Miami Valley. The difficult greens provide most of the trouble. They are small and hard to hit and on many holes they are elevated above the fairway, making it hard to play a run-up shot. The bentgrass fairways are spacious and thankfully more forgiving, but they are bordered by thick rough. Water hazards come into play on several holes. There is even one hole that crosses the meandering creek that runs through the golf course twice. The par-5 18th provides a memorable finish, requiring a tee shot past a large pond to a fairway that sits well below the pond. Finding the right club to use and a good spot to hit are nearly impossible.

Really nice first time here
I liked the course, the back 9 was much better maintained than the front 9. People were quite friendly, the pace of play was good, if anything my buddy and I were the ones holding up others (though we had them join us and it was great). The course had a lot of yellow, the tee boxes were confusing in that sometimes the white tees were in patches of rough while a perfectly fine tee box was available just uphill. The clubhouse restroom was old and smelled like it doesn't get cleaned a ton, but with COVID-19 that's all the time I spent in there. So it's nothing fancy, but the course plays and I'd be happy to come back at some point.

What a beautiful day and course!!!! Everything is well maintained, course is open for the most part, greens were maintained well..wish more people would fix their divots on the green, but overall maintained well considering. We’ll be back out soon!

Nice Layout
The Good-Friendly staff, good course layout, small greens and reasonable price.
The Bad- The greens were as hard as concrete. There are no sprinklers around greens only fairway and tee box. The golf carts look like they are from the 1970's.

Nice course for the price
Had never played here before so figured we’d give it a shot. Staff was very friendly & the course was in fairly good shape. Would definitely play here again. Good bang for you buck.

Course plays quickly and has a nice layout
It’s not the most perfect course but the greens are nice fairways are half decent and it plays quickly usually there’s not much slow play that I have ever ran into ....I’ve played it now several times this is the first year that I’ve ever played it but I always keep it in the back of my mind because I do like it a lot

Good deal if you play 18 for $20 with a cart
First time playing. Had low expectations given the low price. Tee boxes were ok - fairways were good. Sand traps were not raked and had grass growing in them. No rakes, but I am assuming that is a covid rule. Some greens were ok - some had lots of ant hills and some had dead spots. They recently sprayed and lots of the weeds were dying. That will improve the condition of the course. Overall - a good place to tune up but don't expect much.
