About

Jamaica Run Golf Club offers one of the most challenging layouts in the Miami Valley. The difficult greens provide most of the trouble. They are small and hard to hit and on many holes they are elevated above the fairway, making it hard to play a run-up shot. The bentgrass fairways are spacious and thankfully more forgiving, but they are bordered by thick rough. Water hazards come into play on several holes. There is even one hole that crosses the meandering creek that runs through the golf course twice. The par-5 18th provides a memorable finish, requiring a tee shot past a large pond to a fairway that sits well below the pond. Finding the right club to use and a good spot to hit are nearly impossible.

Jamaica Run is a special place. My favorite thing to do is to play the course alone. It is enjoyable, casual, quiet, and fun. Is the course in perfect condition? No. But it feels like home. Go play Jamaica Run and have fun. You’ll want to come back!

Terrible Course

I hate to write a bad review about this course because I've played it for years but this was the worst I've seen this course. All the greens were in very bad condition. It looked like some of them were diseased. The fairways were also not in very good shape.

Always a friendly staff! Great value for money.! Amenities well taken care of! Course could use a little work but they are always working on it! Just a great place to enjoy, learn, and have fun!

Has Potential

$25/person Hotdeal made this worth a try. I'm not sure I'd pay full price to play it this year. The grass on the greens were a little long, making the greens slow and unpredictable; however it did look like they were trying really hard to improve conditions. I'll give it another try next year.
