About
Jamaica Run Golf Club offers one of the most challenging layouts in the Miami Valley. The difficult greens provide most of the trouble. They are small and hard to hit and on many holes they are elevated above the fairway, making it hard to play a run-up shot. The bentgrass fairways are spacious and thankfully more forgiving, but they are bordered by thick rough. Water hazards come into play on several holes. There is even one hole that crosses the meandering creek that runs through the golf course twice. The par-5 18th provides a memorable finish, requiring a tee shot past a large pond to a fairway that sits well below the pond. Finding the right club to use and a good spot to hit are nearly impossible.

I was thirsty
No beer on Sunday’s? Come on just pay the additional liquor license, you are a golf course. Also kind of of upset that they didn’t have water available. Every golf course I go to has water. Staff was super nice and course was pretty good. Just missing water and beer on Sundays .

Only if you can’t play anywhere else
Not worth the money. Not a good course at all. Most of the players are rude and do not respect the pace of play and the course needs a lot of work. I wouldn’t play here again. Especially since it’s $45.00

The course is in extremely poor condition
Multiple tee boxes are placed away from the elevated spot where they should be, some fairways have been left overgrown and as a result when it is cut leaves trimmings everywhere, some bunkers are mildly overgrown, and the greens are in poor condition.

I only play here if I get a deal
Worst carts in the area. Pace of play is usually great because there's not many people there. Clubhouse is in horrible shape. Course is in average shape. I only play when I get a deal during the week. No way I'd pay $45 to play on the weekend. I'd rather pay $50-60 and actually play a nice course in the area.

Better Than Last Time
Course conditions B- better than last time I rated it D. That was a year ago. The rain helped the greens. Course needs some work — Tee Boxes, some of the greens. Some of the Bent grass is like hitting off of concrete. Some of the Staff has attitude issues (not my fault you choose to work there). One of the employees complained about not cleaning the golf cart out. It was two pieces of trash. If you are complaining about that and it’s your job to clean the golf carts out, then get a new job.

Better Than Last Time
Better course conditions than the last time I played which was a year ago. Tee boxes need a lot of work. Greens were slightly better than last year. C+ course conditions

Staff had a real attitude
Desk manager and range master had really bad attitudes. As we were walking into the clubhouse the manager was complaining about our groups start time and didn’t stop until he realized it was us he was talking about. The greens are in nice shape but the carts are in desperate need of repair/ replacement. Also the some of the staff should consider being a little more discreet when talking badly about guests.

Slow and Terrible Management
The course was horribly slow. No starter on a Saturday is crazy but no starter on a Saturday The Weeknd of Fathers Day is even worse.
The gentleman inside was not friendly and telling customers they should be lucky to have gotten on the course today. I’m sorry but $42.50 for 18 in a cart that had ripped seats and a broken windshield is not a “great value”. Not to mention we tee’d off around 40 mins after our tee time due to no starter and course mismanagement. We didn’t even get to finish 18 holes. The greens were not great and some even had tunnels on them from moles. Hate to say it, but this course was just a huge disappointment all the way around.

Junior golf competition
They were having a junior golf tournament which I think is great getting younger kids interested in the game. They had me tee off on the back so I assumed the kids had already played the back or would be finishing soon. That was not the case after I finished with the first hole I had to wait no less than 20 minutes before I could hit every shot. I tried slowing down try and space us out a bit, but people were coming up behind me and I would catch right back up. Needless to say it was not a good time. Maybe when holding an event like this allow a lot more time before booking tee times to the public to avoid this in the future.

Bring your goat
Lots of places for your goat to eat and sleep when you go to Jamaica run. You can even race them on this track.
