Homestead Springs Golf Course
About
Although Homestead Springs Golf Course is just a few minutes southeast of Columbus, the surrounding countryside provides an idyllic atmosphere. It has a convenient location that is easily accessible from Central Ohio. The course is mostly flat, which makes it easy to walk, but there is some strategic mounding that can cause tricky uneven lies. Overall though, the golf course is not meant to pose an impossible challenge. It has an approachable, player-friendly layout that was designed for all skill levels to enjoy, but there are still a variety of challenges that will keep you on your feet. The course boasts excellent green conditions with putting surfaces that roll fast and true. The greens vary in size from small to medium. Water hazards come into play as well as a few strategically placed bunkers.

Great course
Had a good time.course in great condition.will go again
Perfect place for a practice round
Homestead is one of the few Columbus courses that comes into playable condition early in the year. Aside from some dead grass on a few greens, the grounds crew had all the sand raked, all the leaves and ground clutter removed, and most of the mud under control (directly after some heavy rains).
The par 5 eleventh is always a challenge, and the reachable 280 yard third is no gimme. Many holes can be birdied if your game is up to it.
If you are in it for the facilities, they are minimal. If you just like golf, you will enjoy the course and the staff.
Great greens!
The course was a little wet in some place but all in all it was in great shape and the greens were amazing!
Overall course is in great shape
Played here several times this season, seems like it gets better every time I come. Greens are getting fast and the fairways are in great shape for being this late in the season.
GolfNow "Hot Deal" price was the reason for the trip
Greens had been aerated, but were pretty smooth & quick. Holes were filled in with some surface topping still left which made getting the speed right tough. Fairways were in good shape. Was really windy that day & had a lot of leaves blowing around & we couldn't find a couple of balls. Wasn't real busy, but players ahead were really slow. We were always having to wait to hit with three groups on a hole (going to the green, in the fairway & on the tee)
Fun course to play.
Fun course to play. The greens and fairways were in excellent shape. The staff is friendly and courteous. I will definitely play here again.
best in groveport
I live in groveport, and to be honest, i play this course more then the links. I tell everyone about this course. very well maintained.
Well maintained even after a heavy ram the previous day.
The course was well maintained with great character on the front nine and the back nine has more distance to add to the challenge. The greens were very well groomed!
nice course, nice people
always enjoy playing here 3 to 4 times a year! course is always in nice shape. one of the best deals around central ohio. Tough final two holes!
Challenging
Course is always fun with trouble along the ways. We had a threesome in front if us that was very slow but that happens.
Great layout and challenging holes.
This course has a few creeks flowing through it to challenge the distance of every player. Sometimes you'll need to lay up to avoid them. The conditions are very well kept up and the staff is very nice. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend.
Casual easy course
This course was just okay for the price of $12... Would not pay more than that. It was kind of a hike for me as I am in the middle of Columbus. It looks like it is someone's private home with an addition built on the back to serve as the clubhouse. No dress code that I saw… Lots of guys wearing T-shirts and jean shorts... I guess that may be a positive feature for some though. The course was fairly well maintained and play was quick, not very challenging.
Beautiful course
The course was in good condition, and the staff was very friendly. Course isn't too hard but there are a couple very long holes. Still a blast
Nice overall layout, friendly staff, good for mid-high handicappers.
Had a fun time playing this course. Was able to break 90 after a long time. The greens on the front 9 were compact and required accurate iron play. The holes on the front 9 are also a little shorter than the ones on the back 9. The finishing hole is a monster 603 yd par 5 from the white tees.
Fairways and greens were in good condition. It was my first time playing this course and I was helped by the group I was paired with. They were very friendly and helped point out the distances to creeks that cross a few of the fairways, as well as other hazards that might not be visible off the tee.
Am definitely coming back to play this course and hope to break 85 soon.
Nice course.
The course is nice and fairly priced. Pace of play was great. Played 18 in under 2.5 hours as a twosome.
Nice course
The course is nice, but there are no yardage markers other than the sprinkler heads and they have a $10 minimum to use your credit card at the snack bar. Since I went by myself, I had to play the round with no drink.
Fun Course
Fun course. Front is easier than the back.
Paid $ 11.00 thru golf now with a cart.
Can't beat that!
Excellent value for the money... challenging
well kept fairways.... 4 sets of T's
golfing for every type of golfer
The greens were in great shape.
The course was in great shape. Pace of play was excellant. Lots of flowers made it real nice.
