Homestead Springs Golf Course
About
Although Homestead Springs Golf Course is just a few minutes southeast of Columbus, the surrounding countryside provides an idyllic atmosphere. It has a convenient location that is easily accessible from Central Ohio. The course is mostly flat, which makes it easy to walk, but there is some strategic mounding that can cause tricky uneven lies. Overall though, the golf course is not meant to pose an impossible challenge. It has an approachable, player-friendly layout that was designed for all skill levels to enjoy, but there are still a variety of challenges that will keep you on your feet. The course boasts excellent green conditions with putting surfaces that roll fast and true. The greens vary in size from small to medium. Water hazards come into play as well as a few strategically placed bunkers.

Reviews
Great golf experience!
Course is well maintained and staff informs you of slow play if any. People there are average golfers and are cordial to let you play ahead if necessary. Course is well maintained which in turn makes for a great golf experience!
Fairways were rough but good day for golf!
Course play was good, not rushed. Layout was okay with wide open fairways. The rough was in good shape so that made for some challenging approach shots. A little surprised that the fairways had so many dead spots.
Course was in great shape.
The day we golfed it was 75 degree, sunny with a light breeze. The course was in great shape. What more can you ask for on a day of golf.
Great course well maintained
I only wish we could have played on a better day. The greens where wet and the moisture made them slow.
Very playable!
I had the first tee time of the day and as a single player it could not have been any better. Played in 2 hrs and 20 minutes which included searching for my ball on a couple of holes. Course is in great shape. Fairways and greens are plush. Great value for $25 w/ cart. Staff were very friendly. Looking forward to going back.
First Time Playing Course
For being my first time playing the course, I really cant give the best review since I don't play a lot of golf, but for the most part, the course was pretty good to play and well kept...I liked it so much I am going back again.
Awesome Course!
Course was great. It's wide open, with really small greens, and couple tough holes to keep you on your toes. Pace of play was super slow, but we had no idea there were 2 outings going on that day, until we tee'd off. I used to play this course all the time with my dad years ago, and it's still an awesome course today. Some of the fairways had areas that were roped because of all the rain, but that's not the course's fault obv. This course is great for the money, and anybody who hasn't played it should check it out on a weekday if possible. The staff is very friendly, and Homestead is an overall great place to play. It's also privately owned, so you're supporting a small business.
Fun course! Great shape!
Some very unique holes. Just enough challenge to keep you on your toes but still enjoy yourself as an average golfer.
One of my favorite courses.
Nice course this played great after some heavy rains played well
I enjoy this course. It's a great course for skills of all levels.
The thick rough and some tour distance par 5 make this course a challenge. It has a lot of birds holes if you are accurate off the tee. If you miss a lot of fairways or greens the rough can be very penalizing. Greens rea in good shape and role true.
Course in great shape!
This course is very well maintained. You get excellent value due to good pricing (thanks to golf now) and overall great shape of the course. I had a great time playing this course!
Always enjoy Homestead.
I've played Homestead a bunch of times and it keeps getting better. The greens are perfect right now. Not difficult to the point of frustration but enough to challenge you.
Always in pristine condition!
Homestead is always in pristine condition and is very fun to play. Front nine is shorter than the back, but is more interesting and a little tricky. Always a good bargain, just wish they had a driving frange.
The course has great features and a great challenge.
I havent played at Homestead in 3 yrs because of shoulder surgeries but the course looked 2 times better than it did last time I played there. We had a great time.
Diamond In The Rough
This course seems to attract the nicest people in Columbus. The greens and tee blocks are very very nice.
Great value
Got a deal through GolfNow, $25 for 18 holes riding. Course is very well maintained, pretty wide open, about 25 minutes or so from downtown. Will definitely be back
Great little track.
Played it when it was a little rainy out and it was definitely set up to shoot low. I have played this course for a couple years now and every time I have been here the course is set up perfectly. The greens are always in great shape and roll true, they also bite like no ones business. Fairways were decently mowed, like I said it was wet because of the rain so I did not expect them to be freshly cut. Overall, it was a great value for the money.
Fun course for the begining golfer
This course is a lot of fun and well conditioned. The course is not very challenging making it a great course for the beginning and average golfer. The rough is easy and the greens are soft, helping shot sticks instead of rolling off. The course is shorter in yardage then most courses but that's part of what makes it fun. Will be back for sure, probably next week.
Great Value and fast play!
Small but fast greens. Multiple tee boxes to play from. We played in less than 3.5 hours which was awesome. You can not beat the value anywhere in the Columbus area south of I 70.
Great course and great staff
For what you pay for this course on golfnow there is not a better place to play around columbus. Great value just a little outside of the city and just 10 minutes from me. Play here a couple times a week love the course and the staff.
