About
Although Homestead Springs Golf Course is just a few minutes southeast of Columbus, the surrounding countryside provides an idyllic atmosphere. It has a convenient location that is easily accessible from Central Ohio. The course is mostly flat, which makes it easy to walk, but there is some strategic mounding that can cause tricky uneven lies. Overall though, the golf course is not meant to pose an impossible challenge. It has an approachable, player-friendly layout that was designed for all skill levels to enjoy, but there are still a variety of challenges that will keep you on your feet. The course boasts excellent green conditions with putting surfaces that roll fast and true. The greens vary in size from small to medium. Water hazards come into play as well as a few strategically placed bunkers.

Best for the money anywhere !
Greens are in great shape, staff is really friendly and its easy to get to the course. Highly recommend.
Course surprised me!!!
These small family courses usually disapoint me. But to my surprise, this course exceeded my expectation. The couse is short. 6445 from the tips, but, they place all the hazzards in most of the landing areas. There are some very sneeky small water hazards you would not expect. The staff was VERY friendly. I came across them mowing greens on more than one hole. They were very professional and let us play through without any waiting. The greens were very soft, a bit long on the mowing but VERY VERY FAST!!. Very few ball marks on the greens. I plan to play this course again soon!!!!

Had a very enjoyable round, in a unique setting not far from Canal, back 9 plays a bit more challenging, 9th green is tough, 18th is a long par 5.
Beautiful course, friendly staff
The course is very well kept, and the staff quite friendly. It's easily accessed, and seems to be quite popular. Much better than a day sitting in front of a computer!!
Course in good condition
The pace of play really slowed down on the back nine. We spent a lot of time waiting.
Great value..will play it again
Was expecting a flat, straight, boring layout. This was anything but that. Nice variety of holes, small challenging greens. Pace of play was excellent. First time I played the course. Went for the great price, but will return for the challenge the course provided.
Very nice public course
A well maintained small budget public course. Back nine very long versus front nine. Well worth the golfnow hot deal rate.

My favorite course to play
This course is well maintained, fairways are wide, and it is just challenging enough for me. I love playing here.
A great value.
We played the course after a night of steady rain so the fairways were very wet, as expected. Aside from the damp conditions the fairways were excellent, very full. The greens were also in excellent condtion. Good course for golfers with any skill level. Looking forward to coming back to play again.

great condition, greens were pristine and small. Very pleased with level of maintenance and service.
Well maintained, affordable, and enjoyable couse to play. Observed many different types of players on this particular day.
Tee to green very well maintained. Rough was very thick in most spots and sometimes hard to find ball even though it was not high. Bunkers were all mainteaned well with fresh new sand. Length was the challenge on the back, with the front requiring more precise shots (placement) on several holes. Greens are generally small with consistent quick greens. Hadn't been here in over 20 years and couldn't remember many holes other than the long 18th (615 Yards). Very well worth the value and the drive time of 40 minutes from home to course
Homestead has become one of my goto courses!
One of the reasons I play Homestead is convenience; only 5 minutes from home. But the course is always well kept, presents a fair challenge, and is a great value for the price; especially on golfnow! Just watch out for the 150 markers (potted plants), I question their accuracy on some holes! Don't be put off by the clubhouse either, it does not reflect the condition of the course!

The course is in great shape
Played on a thursday morning, had to wait for the frost to clear before we were allowed on the course. If I had one complaint, it would be the order in which they started the golfers. 4 groups, a threesome, a two some, myself playing alone, and another threesome. I teed off 3rd, the golfers ahead were very kind and allowed me to play through, but could have been easily avoided by putting the groups in order by size. Did not ruin my day, or upset me in any way, just a thought. The course is in awesome shape, the greens rolled very true, and were surprisingly fast.

This course can satisfie most players.It has some challenging holes on it,some easier holes and some long holes to play.Something for everybody.
