Good, tough, course
Lots of hills, big breaking putts, some bad grass from flooding. Got behind a lot of slow players. Seemed like they had too many people out there and it ended up being 3 hrs for front 9 only.
Very Disappointing Four Star Rating
This is the worst course I've played in a long time. The fairways are riddled with weeds and bare in many spots. The"greens" are partially or almost totally bare of grass. The tee boxes are dirt with some exceptions. If Golfnow considers this course four star, I question its standards and it will make me cautious of its ratings in the future.
Has potential
Greens were bad. Tee boxes were bad, fairways were decent at best. Nice course layout, if they maintained it, it has potential
Short but fun
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised that the course was not
Crowded for our noon tee time and that free lunch is provided on Tuesdays in July, cannot beat it!
Tee boxes need attention as well as a number of greens but overall it is a decent track.

Pace of Play RESERVE THE WHOLE DAY - 7 Hours
Ridiculous! After 9 holes took 3 and a half hours; we called the club house to say that the pace was too slow. We were told not to worry; that the staff will still be there even if it took 7 hours to play our round! Seriously?
Not a 4 star course
The course isn't bad, I think I just expected more - this is more like a 3 star course and not a 4 star.
A lot of the tee boxes were pretty beat up.
Lots of mud and dirt on the fairways
Some fairway weren't freshly cut
Don't want to sound too negative because I did enjoy the day, and I know it has rained a lot lately, but the course just wasn't in great shape.
A short course with good greens.
Played here on a rainy day, staff was really friendly and there was barely anyone around. The course plays short which gives you a lot of options off the tee. There are enough slopes around the course to get you into trouble if you leave it in the wrong spots. The greens were rolling great at a moderate speed.
Course was a little wet due to extensive rains.
I've played this course many times and enjoy it. It's not overly long however, there are a few tricky holes which could really run up your score. Ninth hole has to be played carefully off the tee or you could get into real trouble with water or hitting out of the trees. Eighteen is basically the same way. If you overdrive, your in the water, if you hit it right your in the woods and have to lay up. A couple of greens drop off in the back dramatically and the approach is quite downhill so your approach shot has to be just right or it's gone. I enjoy the challenge it's a fun course.
average difficulty overall but tricky greens
short fair course with very good greens - hidden breaks
Shortness makes it very slow on busy days - waited on 90% of shots
Great Course Challening Greens
Great time at Bunker Hill, unassuming golf course. Nice Course for players of all levels. Short course on par 4's and 5's in 2, greens are extremely challenging. many 3 putts.
Fairway and Greens are in wonderful shape right now.
Great price $40 with cart, snack bar was very reasonable.
2 criticisms, Some sand traps need work and there are 2 water coolers on the course and one was empty...15 if I recall correctly. On a 92 degree day, I needed the water.
Highly recommended.
Good Course
It is a fun course to play. A teriffic value for the money.
Friendly atmosphere & comfortable course.
Right from the time you walk into the club house to when you leave, everyone is very friendly and cordial. The course is well maintained, with very few thin spots on fairways and tee boxes. It is not a long course but does have tight fairways. It does not have the frills of the club house, but I'm here to play golf, not hang out. Definitely recommend playing here for an enjoyable round.
Good value for the money.
Course is in very good condition, staff is friendly, pace of play easy and quick. Very good value for the money.
I enjoyed the high tee boxes
The grass was too high on the second cut. We experience difficult area to find our balls. Tee times to close together. We was ask can a twosome jump in front of us because a sixsome of lady's was behind us a was slowing things down.
had a 1006 tee time got there 930 ish payed and went right out how great was that excellant conditions for middle of May course always in great shape
can't wait to play there again always in excellant shape speed of play always great has a Pennslyvania feel to it love this course keep up the great work great value ty
Great course for the price
Course was very well maintained yesterday. The best part about the day though was that there wasn't anyone in front or behind us. We were able to play in roughly 3 1/4 hours...if not for a few errant shots it probably would have taken us under 3 hours for a threesome. I will definitely be coming back in the near future.
Good day on the course
Good course, well maintained greens and fairways. Only issue was several tee boxes were mangled and I had a hard time finding an actual spot to tee off from. Besides that, I feel like I got a steal for $20 with a cart and a free grilled chicken sandwich (free lunch tuesdays).
Great staff and good course
For the time of year the course was well maintained, greens a bit bumpy do to airation. Overall, the the course was well laid out and the staff was beyond friendly.
Open all year
If your looking to play in the winter it's not to far to travel for a day trip. Condition is not great, but there's not much you can do about it. Played Jan 20th so a lot of the greens were frozen. Approach shots should be short of the greens as the ball will roll. Spring and summer are much better. If you want to stay in swing shape it's well worth the money and the trip. Booking thru Golfnow.com made it easy. Enjoy.
