Scenic views with some elevation and lots of trees
Played for the first time Labor Day weekend and course was in pretty good shape. Tee boxes were a little rough in spots due to volume of play but otherwise course was standing tall - fairways were cut and green, rough wasn’t too thick, sand was dry and very playable and greens were fast and true. Front nine is less challenging than the back, fairly open though if you miss trees on either nine will penalize you. Back nine was more dynamic with elevation and more dog legs and tighter fairways. Starter and rangers were friendly, pace of play was also pretty good. Overall I thought it was priced fairly. Will be back!
Storm day play
Thought this out of the way track would be somewhat sleeping but was hopping after storms closed other local courses. Track is tight, conditions ok but worth the $42 round. Don’t think I will make the 45 minute drive often but will likely return at some time
One of my favorite local courses but I’ll never play there on a Sunday afternoon again- pace of play was atrocious stacked up 4 groups deep on #1 at my tee time - well over 3 hours for front 9 then played thru a group at the turn while they were getting food so came in at 5 1/2 hrs. Nobody repaired ball marks on greens so I was disappointed. Weekday golf there is always a gem however
Always a great time beautiful greens. We never saw people playing ahead us or behind going back soon
